Airport Simulator 3: Day & Night

Don't waste your money on this. To put it simply - this isn't even "early access". It's pre-alpha at best. None of the features actually work. "Skip to next task" takes you to the end of the day (skipping all your tasks), clicking "yes" to turning on tutorials doesn't actually turn on the tutorials, there's a bunch of "?" markers everywhere, but no indication on what to do with them, In the event you actually manage to trick the game into turning on the tutorials, you get one version of a tutorial in a red box that can sometimes cover up items on screen you're supposed to access AND a second explanation box that's at the bottom of the screen and extreme difficult to read. Bottom line: game doesn't work. Don't put your money into this.

This game is listed as version 1.0 but seems more like an Alpha or Early Access version. If it's advertised as Early Access, I know what I'm getting into. My 20 minutes of play time were 10 minutes trying to figure out how to change my widescreen resolution from 5760x1080 to 1920x1080. The game opened so un-optimized that I only saw the options and exist button upon loading. Randomly trying different options by hitting left, right, up and down and applying actually brought me into a viewable screen... The other ten minutes were trying to figure out the tutorial and the non working question marks all over the airport. Using the fast forward option just goes fast forward, regardless if you click to "skip to next event". No indicator as to which gate and airplane you are actually trying to unload. Refund request submitted as this is not a full release that is advertised.

When things worked, it was actually fun for a bit. But things are constantly not working, the game seems like it is in a pre-alpha stage, things are so buggy almost nothing works correctly about 85% of the time.

Not a fully developed game. Screen resolution settings are weird, couldn't make ultrawide work. There are non-working buttons on the interface. Gameplay seems to be a tad simplistic, basically drive here, drive there. Refunded

every flight is canceled a very bad game. Didn't see one plane in it. graphics look awful and very dark no lights on anything you drive. Worth about a £5

Als ich damals den "zweiten" Teil gespielt habe, dachte ich, schlimmer kann es nicht mehr werden. Und leider ist Airport Simulator 3 schlimmer geworden. Lieblose Welt etc. Kein Flughafen Feeling etc. Eigentlich ist es genau wie der letzte Teil, nur eben mit der 3 vermerkt. Keine Verbesserungen, rein gar nichts hat sich geändert. Nicht mal Flughafendurchsagen etc gibt es. Und so soll Flughafen Feeling aufkommen? Bei diesem "Spiel", leider Fehrlanzeige. Liebe Entwickler, Lieber Publisher: Warum tut ihr euch das immer wieder an, und entwicklet weiterhin so eine Sch.... Bitte lasst es in Zukunft bei einem weiteren Teil, wenn ihr keine Ideen mehr habt, für Verbesserungen. Ein EA Titel vielleicht, aber sicher kein Vollpreisspiel. Lasst die Finger von diesem Game. Die Shopbeschreibung ist irreführung des Kunden. Nichts, aber überhaupt nichts trifft ein, wie in der Shopbeschreibung beschrieben. Bitte, erspart und ein weiterer Teil dieser "Simulator" Reihe. Greift lieber zum Im an Air Traffic Controller 4. Da habt ihr mehr fürs Geld, und auch der Spielspass ist da... Dass der Entwickler bzw. Publisher immer noch nicht Konkurs ist, verwundert mich ehrlich gesagt, vorallem, wenn man ein solches "Spiel" abliefert.

Nearly recommended this because I’ve enjoyed playing it eventually after realizing I need to have the employees doing all the work and just managing then versus doing the work myself. Managing the crew works quite well and I enjoyed it. Why is it better to manage, here’s when the problem lies, the game is a buggy mess, most vehicles work ok but there are some that completely break the game. To start you drive the bus, baggage, and fuel truck, appart from them ending up upside down sometimes they work fine for the most part. It’s once you unlock the other vehicles that poop hits the fan. The jetway got stuck in the terminal building and it’s still stuck there, never to be used again, I have to pay to skip that task now, the baggage loaders bug out a lot and will end up as scrap on the map meaning I have to buy/rent a new one and try to ignore the Broken ones. What would change my review to recommend, a simple fix, there is a reset vehicle option but it doesn’t work, if when a vehicle bugs out you could reset it the game would be less frustrating, no idea why the reset option exists, it never works. I’ve posted my issues on the steam discussions and the devs have completely ignored them, this is a dead game for sure. It just needs a few patches and it would be better. I think this game needs to be avoided, if the treat it as managing the airport it works slightly but if you want to do all the driving jobs avoid this completely.

Actalogic used to make janky yet playable games, but since they started publishing under the UIG, UIE and Toplitz names (yes, they're one company) something happened to them. Apart from the "Dynasty" series everything they've turned out in the last five years has by and large been different shades of bad and/or unfinished. For instance, this game is just Airport Simulator 2019 with de-icer trucks and slightly improved visuals...that's it. But is it playable like AS19 was? Heck no. There is no optimization to speak of, fully expect your GPU to turn into a hot plate within five minutes of booting the game up regardless of the limited Unity presets you can pick from. 'Fantastic' and 'Fast' look the same minus shadows. Vehicle handling has gotten worse, with the baggage truck popping 360s if you attempt to brake - not to mention there are no physics on the baggage carts which bounce everywhere with reckless abandon. Buses rake in mechanical damage just being driven in a straight line, I repaired mine one night and it totalled itself driving out of the hangar the next day (!?). AI traffic is still as dumb as a bucket of rocks, traffic jams from AS19 persist here yet manage to be worse due to UIE relocating vehicle spawn points inside unused hangars cuz reasons. The best part? Endless streams of random civilians and airport workers wandering the tarmac flipping everywhere because that's totally a thing in real life. From the hub and reviews, issues with stuck jet bridges are still present despite claims otherwise as well as problems with the new de-icing truck undergoing rapid unscheduled disassembly after leaving a task. Planes can fall through the runway now, something which I never encountered in the previous game. Achievement hunters, as far as I could tell a good portion of the early unlocks do not work. I should have three unlocks yet only have one. Taking a peek at statistics shows that's likely true for many of the long-play (50+hr) ones as well so I'd skip AS3 unless you don't mind a ding against your completion stats. Refund requested. Don't buy this.
