Do NOT purchase this game if you have any plans on playing mutiplayer. It may state it has multiplayer, but it does not. They have totally lied to you. The developers know it does not work but refuse to fix it, answer any questions about it or even acknowlege its broken. Follow the game on Discord, the issues are there for everyone to see. The multiplayer button in the game is disabled so you can't even try it if you wanted to. Stay away from this developer who have abandoned this game. They take your money and do not provide any response or updates. Steam should force the game provider to update the game description or even force them to remove the game from steam.
Schrott! Haben uns zu zweit das Spiel gekauft und jetzt stellt sich heraus dass der COOP Modus gar nicht mehr zur Verfügung steht!
According to other reviews the multiplayer has not been working for ages. If you are a "singleplayer only" guy like myself and like this kind of strategic games, I can recommend this one. The game is well made and looks great in VR. It feels amazing to be in the middle of the action. The only thing I have not been able to handle is using both hands for anything other than movement and zoom of the map. There are two modes: Virtual cursor and laser pointer. I prefer the second one. Sometimes the laser pointer of my right hand stopped working. Had to switch modes twice to bring it back.
Great to see an RTS in VR! Makes good use of roomscale and is a lot of fun. If you like the genre, this game is worth getting, especially as there are not a whole lot of comparable options out there yet (that I know of). Only have a few minor gripes, which might end up being fixed in a later version anyways: 1) Some aspects of the user interface can be a pain, such as selecting units with a cursor or laser--use a bounding box! Fortunately, the unit counts are small enough that this isn't a big problem and the rest of the UI is good once you learn it. 2) The NPC robots standing next to the map and flailing its arms around randomly doesn't make any sense...I try to just ignore it. 3) Some storyline (beyond short descriptions on maps) would really make the whole experience more immersive. Other than that, excellent game!
AirMech Command
Multiplayer doesn't work.

No Vlave Index support, no multiplayer support!
One of the better VR Games. Very polished from the menu to the units. Not a very deep strategy game and the controls could be better, but it makes a heck of fun! You completly forget time during the matches. 8/10 Currently reviews are "Mixed". The game is definitly better than that (especially compared to other, higher rated VR games).
I had this in my library for almost a year before I eventually got around to playing it, and I'm really glad I did. I have 3 RTS games in VR including this one and although it's not my favourite (Brass Tactics in case you were wondering) it is definitely a close second. The visuals have a bit of a Command & Conquer vibe and the ability to control the Airmech to switch from RTS to action gameplay is a really cool feature. I'm sure that RTS purists will probably say that the game lacks the deep strategy of pancake RTS games, but for me this is just right. Think of it as Arcade Strategy and you won't be disappointed.
