My thoughts on this game are Mostly Negative.

this game feels like a bloody fever dream i played this when i was like 9

The game is ♥♥♥♥♥. Do not buy it. I've had this game in my Steam library for a long long time and as part of my 2023 resolution to play more instead of buy more, I decided to finally give Airline Tycoon 2 a run. [h1]PROS[/h1] [list] [*]So frustrated with this title, I can't think of any pros [/list] [h1]CONS[/h1] [list] [*]At $9.99 (full price), the game simply doesn't offer enough enjoyment [*]Player is required to create and log in to a Kalypso Launcher account (not something I think it had when I bought the game back around release). [*]Despite its antique release date the game does not perform well on modern hardware. [*]Graphics are fine for the age, but performance is crap for what they are. [*]The game lacks balanced mechanics and some design decisions are terrible [*]Nowhere near as fun as the original (a cult classic) [/list]

On top of having to sign up for a separate account that spams your email just to play a game you already purchased, there are numerous glitches in the game that make it unplayable. It would be a good mindless every once in a while game if it wasn't for issues with games not saving, text warping or running off the screen because they make it impossible to adjust the resolution properly. This is pretty a much a grab to get your email when you sign up for the account to be able to play the game so they can try to convince you to buy other things. Skip it.

Die wohl schlechteste Fortsetzung eines grandiosen Spiels, das ich je auf meine Festplatte gebracht habe. Leider war ich so blöd mir die Goldversion zu kaufen. Davon hätte ich mir lieber ein schönes Dönermenü oder einen Hamburger in Rick's Café gönnen sollen. Die Flugplanung ist im Gegensatz zum ersten Teil eine unübersichtliche Hölle, genauso wie die Nachrichtenfunktion. Erinnert ihr euch an den kleinen Spion, der euch Tipps im esten AT gegeben hat? Jetzt kommt eine billig programmierte Textzeile. Und genau so geht es leider weiter. Können sich bitte ein paar fähige Fans zusammentun und ein AT3 in gut programmieren? Das wäre hervorragend. Gäbe es bei Steam Sternebewertungen, dann vergäbe ich einen 1 von 5 Sternen für den Humor aus AT1, den das Spiel krampfhaft zu immitieren versucht.

A monumental step down over the first game, functionally and visually. It's broke. They ain't fix it.

What a huge pile of garbage. I have tried a few times to play this game and its just all around horrible. Nothing at all like the first game that was so simple to play and very easy to keep coming back to it. seriously, dont waste your money, nothing about the game is good.

On ne va pas se mentir ! Airline Tycoon était un vrai jeu, un classique. La version deux est une pâle copie, détruisant toutes les mécaniques sympas et droles du premier. Par ailleurs , les journées sont excessivement répétititves et ennuyeuses, rien ou presque n'est automatisé, voir quand on se lance dans le peu d'automatisation mis à dispo, le jeux fait PIRE QUE MIEUX ! Recruter c'est pénible, programmer des vols c'est pénible, même essayer d'avoir des rapports financiers qui tiennent la route c'est pénible. Autant rester avec les bonnes impressions du jeu original. Même en solde à -80% comme aujourd'hui c'est jeter de l'argent par les hublots d'un avion !
