Fun game, but very simple. Good if you have a limited set up, like keyboard only, as these are the only controls. It's a mobile game in terms of simplicity, I remember similar games in the Amiga era, I actually worked on one just like it and designed some aircraft for it, it's not an unknown format, but not very deep. I mean the game Biplanes or Salmon Pink Max by Zeus on the Amiga which had very similar side-on perspectives and aircraft looping to get onto the target for the same kind of gameplay. I was surprised to see that format here on Steam and went for it as a cheap game to play on a laptop or handheld. There is a currency system, but it's fair and you don't have to do that much grinding to get the best aircraft. I just ground out levels in the first and second eras about 20 times to get money for the top aircraft and credit for upgrades. The currency system and upgrades, historical eras add extra layers of gameplay and investment than just the basic looping and shooting gameplay. I think some effort went into the aircraft and the assets and the devs or dev should be commended for it. I've come back to edit this again because they did some more updates in April 2025, including controller support. They also completely revamped the game, GFX and upgrades, plus added an endless mode. Other devs are abandoning games in Early access. These people or person made their money ages ago and still came to give everyone a free revamp and new gameplay modes alongside controller support. Very impressive to me, well done those guys or guy.

Good game after modification
Would appreciate a way to change bomb selection keybinding. My wheel on my mouse doesn't work right so selecting new ammo is absolute nightmare, please make this changable!
Fun game if you can get it for cheap.
This feels like a classic flash game from another universe
I've been looking for a long time for a game like Wings of Fury. I thought this would be the one. But the controls are so unintuitive that I couldn't play the game. I think the problem is that it was designed first for the map or maybe a stick and then the keys were mapped to mimic that. But it doesn't work for me. If there was an option, to map the controls to ones like Wings of Fury both for gamepad and keyboard, then I would definetelly give this one more try. I would even test this for you. If you are interested, this is the controls for Wings of Fury. Page 6 or 12 https://www.abandonwaredos.com/docawd.php?sf=wingsoffurymanual.pdf&st=manual&sg=Wings+of+Fury&idg=3115
