Даже мухи дохнут от скуки пролетая мимо экрана.
Just spend more money on getting any title of terminator for steam instead of this garbage.
overall alright for in between.
AI: Rampage, developed by Sekerin Productions and published by New Reality Games, is a post-apocalyptic action strategy hybrid that attempts to fuse stealth mechanics, tactical decision-making, and survival tension into a bleak world overrun by machines. Released in early 2016, the game takes place after an AI uprising has wiped out most of humanity, leaving behind a wasteland dominated by hostile robots. As one of the few remaining human survivors, the player must scavenge, outwit, and fight these mechanical oppressors to reclaim what’s left of civilization. It’s a premise that holds a great deal of promise, especially for fans of atmospheric indie experiments, but the execution struggles to keep up with the ambition of the concept. The first impression of AI: Rampage is one of desolation. The world is rendered from a top-down perspective, giving players a strategic overview of their surroundings while reinforcing a sense of detachment and hopelessness. The environments are sparse and industrial, filled with muted tones and mechanical debris that reflect the devastation wrought by the AI war. There’s a consistent mood of isolation throughout, with empty landscapes and cold robotic patrols replacing any sense of life. The game’s visual simplicity can at times feel crude, but it also helps establish a distinctive tone—a sterile, post-human wasteland where everything feels cold and impersonal. The sound design supports this atmosphere well, using mechanical hums, distant metallic echoes, and an understated soundtrack to create unease. It’s not flashy, but it successfully immerses the player in its quiet, lifeless apocalypse. Gameplay revolves around stealth, survival, and light tactical combat. The player is often outnumbered and outgunned, so direct confrontation is discouraged. Instead, success depends on staying hidden, avoiding detection, and strategically engaging only when necessary. Robots have limited fields of vision and audio detection, forcing players to move carefully and consider every action. The inclusion of futuristic gadgets like cloaking devices, holograms, and energy weapons introduces some variety, though these mechanics never fully evolve beyond their basic implementation. The controls, while serviceable, lack the refinement needed for a game that leans so heavily on precision and timing. Movement can feel sluggish, aiming imprecise, and feedback inconsistent, which occasionally undercuts the tension the design is trying to build. The missions themselves are structured around small-scale objectives: infiltrating outposts, collecting resources, or destroying key targets. Each level provides a confined arena in which to experiment with stealth and combat tactics, but the overall design can feel repetitive after a few hours. Enemy variety is limited, and once the player learns how to manipulate the AI’s detection system, much of the challenge diminishes. This lack of depth is compounded by the absence of narrative progression. Beyond the initial setup, the game provides very little context or storytelling to motivate the player. There are no substantial characters to interact with, no dialogue beyond brief mission descriptions, and no overarching sense of personal journey. The result is a mechanical loop that, while initially engaging, begins to feel hollow without a larger emotional or narrative anchor. Where AI: Rampage shows flashes of promise is in its tension and world-building. The idea of navigating a robot-controlled wasteland armed only with limited tools and cunning is conceptually strong. There are moments where sneaking past patrols under flickering lights or narrowly escaping detection evokes genuine suspense. The sparse world design allows the imagination to fill in the blanks, suggesting a larger story of humanity’s downfall just beyond the visible horizon. Unfortunately, these moments are fleeting and often undermined by the game’s technical and design shortcomings. Glitches, inconsistent AI behavior, and abrupt transitions between areas can break immersion and remind players of the game’s limited polish. Performance-wise, the game runs well on even the most basic hardware, reflecting its lightweight design. It’s accessible to a wide audience in that sense, but the simplicity also extends to its mechanics and presentation. The menus are functional but clunky, loading screens occasionally stutter, and overall interface design lacks the sleekness or usability of more refined indie titles. These are small details individually, but together they contribute to a sense of roughness that permeates the experience. It’s clear that the developers had strong ideas but limited resources, and AI: Rampage feels like a prototype for a more fully realized project rather than a complete product in itself. The replay value is minimal once the core systems are understood. There are few surprises after the first couple of hours, and the game doesn’t offer alternative playstyles or difficulty modes that significantly alter the experience. Players seeking depth, variety, or narrative progression may find the experience too thin to justify extended playtime. On the other hand, for those drawn to indie experiments and atmospheric post-apocalyptic settings, there’s an undeniable charm in its simplicity. It’s easy to appreciate what the game is trying to achieve, even if the execution falls short of its potential. AI: Rampage ultimately stands as a curiosity—an ambitious idea constrained by limited means. It presents a compelling world concept, strong atmosphere, and a framework for stealth-oriented gameplay, but its lack of polish, repetitive mission structure, and shallow mechanics keep it from becoming more than a fleeting diversion. It’s the kind of game that might intrigue players who enjoy obscure indie titles or experimental approaches to familiar genres, but it won’t hold the attention of those expecting refinement or narrative depth. In the end, AI: Rampage succeeds more as a mood piece than as a cohesive game, a glimpse into a bleak mechanical world that feels fascinating in theory but incomplete in practice. Rating: 4/10
________________________________________________________________ The game left a disappointing impression. The gameplay is confusing, poorly explained, and thrown at you without any proper tutorial or guidance. Nothing feels intuitive - the mechanics are messy, the combat lacks clarity, and most encounters feel random rather than well-designed. It’s as if the game just drops you into a swarm of robots and expects you to figure everything out on your own. The only real positive here is the cheap Steam trading cards, which are useful if you want to level up your profile. But as an actual game, it fails to deliver anything memorable, and there’s very little reason to come back.

Frustrating spawn camping, buggy restarts, and extreme difficulty. Avoid if you value fair, engaging gameplay.
I am a 56 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for Christmas from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just, watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. loaded into the game, made my character and world and started playing but I was stuck on what you were supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he helped me. Loved it as it was the best time had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.Thank you <3
