3 Difficulty Levels

Melee Disarms
Slow Bullet Speeds
No Reload
…and many more!

Zone: You have to capture the zone on the map to score points. Don't let any enemy contest it as it will stall the countdown!
Challenges: special matches against pre-set bots where players must reach a precise score under a certain amount of time. The faster you win, the better the prizes. Unlock maps, characters, music tracks, and more!

I've never played the games this is trying to emulate, so my perspective is influenced by that. That said, this is a really fun, refreshing experience. It's not the longest walk, but there's plenty of hidden secrets and unlockables to keep you occupied once you've beaten the main campaign. This game is balanced very interestingly, auto aim is on by default like it's Goldeneye 007, and so your main concern is dodging bullets and ammo conservation rather than placing shots well. The spy stuff is kind of minimal, this plays more like a shooter, but that's perfectly fine in my books. I did get the impression you could stealth most of these missions if you put in the effort, which is cool. A very interesting experience that was a great change of pace from what I normally play. Def worth checking out.
this game is great they really got the combat and feel perfect for those classic games, even though theres no voices and the dialogue is cheesy its still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great i love it so much haha

It may not have Bond or Joanna Dark, but it is easily a true spiritual successor. Cross your fingers that this gets a sequel!
It's...okay. The weapon variety just is not there, which is probably my least favorite thing about the game. As many other people have pointed out, the Cipher system is just kinda bleh. You should unlock missions purely by completing the previous ones imo. Another issue I had (and granted I've never played much of GoldenEye 64 or Perfect Dark, which this is clearly inspired by, so this may be a deliberate design choice instead of an oversight) is the lack of health kits and the complete nonexistence of mid mission checkpoints or saves. This is a throwback game so the arbitary difficulty may be completely intentional, but I find it really annoying to have to replay an entire level because of one thirty second firefight that didn't go my way and left me with nowhere near enough health to clear the rest of the encounters. This became especially tedious on levels like the Museum where you have a crap ton of objectives to do and a ton of enemies to take out. It's far from a bad game, just not a great one imo, and the asking price is a bit much. I think it should be closer to $10, maybe $15 at most. I can't really recommend it unless it goes on sale
A solid Goldeneye/Perfect Dark/TimeSplitters era throwback shooter that replicates a lot of the ups and down of these types of games, for better or worse. For what was primarily a one man development team with a second person purely for the soundtrack, Agent 64 nails the look and feel of the games of the era with plenty of extra features, all playable online with solid enough netcode. Playing through this with a friend on co-op/arena and eventually 100% solo was a fun time with some minor gripes and issues. Replicating its main inspiration Goldeneye, the plot and levels structure just like its inspiration, with plenty of shoutouts and design ideas from its classic counterpart. Most levels are fun enough to play through and a decent pulpy storyline is enjoyable enough for the playthrough. Even enemy AI is similar in that regard though their reaction time on higher difficulties can seem a bit much. Most issues I had were mainly dealing with some specific arena challenges and par times in both arena and the campaign. Some times seem ridiculously tight and some arena challenges feel way more frustrating than fun. The other big aspect was some parts of completion did not save for me when my friend was primarily the host, which required me to replay some sections for them to truly count. One particular case of a run in Temple had a desync issue that considered the mission a failure for me because one of the locks didn't activate on my end but on the host's end was fine. Besides that, I had no major bugs, freezes or crashes, even when playing online. If you're into Goldeneye and Perfect Dark and want something new to check out, this one is solid. For everyone else I would wait for a potential sale. Agent 64 is very deeply entrenched in the design philosophy of its inspiration and there are some pretty frustrating aspects about that if you're not prepared for it among other things.
As a fan of Perfect Dark and Goldeneye I really enjoyed this game. Had the cool sci fi setting and level variety, guns felt good to shoot. Loved the one life to finish the mission style. This gave the game tension, like in the good old days. Great work, I'd buy a sequal. Would like to see more like this. Some things I could criticize were the revolver not feeling so powerful. I suppose more guns would be nice. Perhaps more enemy variety. I added a crosshair with my monitor in order to aim with dual sticks, the old school aiming is still pretty tough to use quickly.
Good Ol James Bond style shootin
This game rules. There's only 2 things about it that are lesser than Goldeneye: no blood when you shoot enemies, and not as many death animations. There still are contextual death animations (legs, arms, head and torso) but you can't shoot a guy in the neck and watch him slowly fall to his knees like in Goldeneye. Other than that minor gripe though the game is really fun. Guns feel great to shoot, the music is really cool (subjective ik but I like it), the aesthetic/graphics are charming, the story isn't the focus but it's silly and works well enough, the levels are varied in terms of locations and required objectives, and you can experience the whole thing with a friend sitting right next to you which is awesome. Some people have issues with no voice acting (who cares imo) and the cypher system which unlocks acts. I never had an issue with cyphers as I played through the whole game beating every difficulty on each level before going on to the next. I kinda feel like that's how you're supposed to do it, as each level usually expands pretty drastically as the difficulty increases. Idk I just wanted to see everything a level had to offer before going on to the next. Maybe I'm strange. If any of this sounds good to you just buy the game. The more people who buy this game the more likely the dev is to make dlc so I have more levels to shoot guys in. That's my end game with this review. Also if you like speedrunning this game feels great to go fast in. Just remember that strafing doesn't make you go any faster.
Really enjoyed this game! It really nails the same game feel that you get from Perfect Dark and Goldeneye, with the movement and weapon bobbing and aiming and everything. No diagonal movement to go faster though, which is a shame. The levels do get gradually more elaborate and interesting to go through, but nothing groundbreaking or anything, just fun. Played entirely on secret agent, while having to do two missions on Agent 64 difficulty and a mask challenge completed to get cyphers needed to unlock all Acts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND going through the game on Secret Agent or above, I feel that the difficulty is decent on this mode if you're being careful and also you get most of the cyphers needed to unlock the Acts in the game (a set of story missions you unlock). Kind of weird to lock campaign missions behind difficulty/mask challenges, I think you should be able to play through the entire game without any barriers. My biggest issue with this game, as someone mentioned in the reviews that put it aptly, is the lack of sauce. In other words, there definitely should be more flair and impact to a lot of things in this game. Stuff like having more flashy prop explosions goldeneye style, gunshot SFX could be better, reload animations should be included, pause menu music and unique UI, and animated screens on props and your gadgets (like the hacking tool or computer screens). These are what came to mind while I was playing through the game. This game really made me want more objective based shooter games, and I'm happy that this game scratched that itch for me for exploring and finding objectives to complete.
Very fun and nostalgic game! Would recommend if you liked Goldeneye and Perfect Dark
