is good but not bad

玩几局还行,多了就腻了。为什么每局都要重头建造,不能给几个建筑吗

Gra fajne, nawet histroia nie jest taka zła, moim zdaniem warta kupna
I'm pretty sure I got this game for free from Indie Bundle and I'm thankful for that. I rushed through the campaign in a couple of hours, not because I was in a rush, but that's the extent of the game. I technically didn't finish the last campaign level, but I had control of the two lanes as far as I could tell and I got bored of waiting for the level to finish. It wasn't the first time. My main complaint is the music and that you can't really turn it off. Even if you set it to zero it can come back. It's also very loud in general. My second is that the only difference in the levels is the special unit... which you can easily ignore (though some can be fun!). Also why are there two air lanes? It seems to be there only to make the game more "complex" rather than actually add anything to the game.
Only on a Sale
This game is not a bad game, it kept me entertained for the majority of the campaign. However, it wasn't without its flaws. Due to the way the game progresses, you cannot replay a campaign mission without resetting your progress. I managed to finish the entire campaign on default setting difficulty (about halfway on a volume-like slider) but as you unlock side-missions and "main" missions simultaneously the challenge was very uneven. Some missions would give you progress (presumably from your previous mission) to start, while others were expected to start from scratch. While this normally would be great, it often led to a Zerg Rush style offence from the AI while you scramble to get the same-old defences down in time to think about which troop you're being shot by next. Because of this disparity, some missions felt almost pre-completed while others were a non-stop onslaught. I guess it kept me on my toes? The "survival" mode on the other hand, was a completely different scenario. You either make an impenetrable defence or you die on the way to setting it up. Once you've stopped the initial onslaught you're pretty much done. You get all the units unlocked, its just a matter of holding the enemy at bay long enough to upgrade them, and producing the correct number of each unit. Others had the indestructible unit bug in Survival mode, though I had no such issue. I was able to complete every single achievement in 5 hours of gameplay, and to be honest about an hour of that was almost AFK -- just replacing units as they died. That being said, the game was only truly entertaining for the first 2-3 hours, as after unlocking everything I was feeling a little underwhelmed. I could have turned the difficulty up, sure, but I wouldn't have experienced any new mechanics at this point. The predetermined special units and upgrade path took away all semblance of choice, as after you realised which units worked the others just weren't worth using. I honestly don't think the survival mode is enough to keep me playing, so I would say it is a "one and done" kind of game. There are better static tower defence games out there, Still, as far as the first playthrough was concerned it definitely was worth the time spent playing. I would recommend, but wait for a sale. The game lacks the polish to justify the full asking price.
