solid need more content tho anyone no when that will happen??
Pretty good.
Note: Gotten on sale; have not beaten game Like Age of Empires? Like facing overwhelming odds? Then you'd probably like this game! It's hard, don't let cute dinosaurs fool ya, but it's got some accessibility in its keybinds, and some of the grinding requires combat to get to. But I found it quite fun and challenging.
Game should be around its first phase, cus it's entertaining and boring at the same time. The bug that I find extremely annoying is, once villagers become idle(around 5~15 or more), the game will lag so much you won't even be able to move(close to the end of the game). Lack of interface is bearable, just that, when attacking, this game becomes too stagnant that it annoys you. You need to click all of your troops and make it attack or wait for enemies to attack it. -----If you attack it once, it will kill all those around it, but not those about a few cm away, Also, being attacked by monsters will only attract that troop's agro, not the ones around it, so yeah, you need to put your troops into groups, like group 1 attack this, group 2 attack this, group 3 attack this, etc. Then you'll have to go back to group one and so on, cus if you don't they'll be useless and die meaninglessly. I was expecting "Attack move" or "Hold button" or "Patrol" but meh, it's all just playing with your mouse's left click. The use of QWEASD is also too much in need in this game. Well, I still highly recommend it, quite a good pass time. I'll try to play a few more minutes or hours before uninstalling it. EDIT: This game has no option inside the game as well, so just bear with it.
Overall, I enjoy the game, it's pretty simple. There is definitely room for improvement. One example, unit selection is difficult (dragging with the mouse), especially when your units are in trees
Wow really nice game, much better then i thought. At first I was shocked when I saw the trailer, slowmo? But after playing for the first time I saw that luckily it wasn't like that. I really like the game and it's fun from the first minute. 10/10
Combine Age of Empires with Factorio and dinosaurs and this is what you get. Misses some quality-of-life features (like attacking spawners directly), but the overall setting of the game is already quite good. Would love a random map generator and fog of war for some replayability, since currently the game only has a set amount of maps you can play that get progressively more difficult. 7/10, wouldn't regret buying if I spent the money myself.
Fun game, will play again.
Recommended A small but enjoyable RTS that really captures the feel of classic strategy games from the early 2000s. The twist with the dinosaur enemies is great — they stay docile until provoked, but once you attack, they start spawning nests rapidly, which can quickly overwhelm you if you’re not careful. It adds a nice risk–reward layer that forces you to plan your moves strategically instead of just rushing in. That said, the game can get a bit repetitive. Each island follows a similar loop: gather resources, fight smaller dinos, research stronger units, and slowly clear the island. It’s still fun, just not endlessly varied. The controls and UI could also use some polish (like better multi-unit selection), and more content such as custom maps or a procedural generator would go a long way. Still, for what it is, it’s stable, nostalgic, and surprisingly engaging — and the fact that it’s bug-free makes it stand out among many other indie releases. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into retro-style RTS games or just want a light strategy fix.
