Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Again a game that has solid foundations, but ruined by the lack of content, variety, and brutal RNG. The premise is fine for the first couple of missions, but then endless repetition kicks in, with a rather limited number of enemy types, extremely random hit detection and the fact that if you die, you have to start the whole level from the beginning. It is a shame, as there is really a good basis for a solid shooter, but as I progressed in the game I enjoyed it less and less. For 1-2 bucks, it would be fine, but 10 USD is just too much for such a game.
great
If I can describe this game with a single sentence, it'd be "Bruh, what the hell is this balancing?!" It's not like the game doesn't try to balance itself, it just does so in completely contradicting directions of what the game feels like it's trying to be. For example, there is a cool down mechanic on your weapon of choice. Now let me say, it is really really cute that the game has this, like it's not about to swarm you with more enemies that most horde shooters. It is utterly ridiculous that the game expects you to take you to take on 100+ enemies with seemingly no cap on how many can spawn. You can't even single them out, as the enemies will rubberband you harder than NPC's in racing games, actually they rubberband you far more than any game I have ever seen! You can't fight them when they swarm you, you die in such few hits that you're outright an idiot if you think you can actually take them on with the breadcrumbs of useful abilities and weapons that the game gives you. Barrel rolling might just be an emote as, even if it can help you dodge, means ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when there's 80+ enemies shooting at you on all sides. You're going to die whether you do a flashy barrel roll or not, the most it can do is slightly delay that when you're up against the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that the game throws at you later on. The only way you can level the playing field is by circling terrain and tricking the AI to crash, which isn't gameplay. I bought this to fight planes, not spin around in circles to exploit a flaw in the game itself! This game looked like it was going to be fun, and challenging, but what I get it a game that doesn't know what it's trying to be besides "plennn go shoota ten spennnn". There's little actual gameplay to be had here, the game has a good foundation for one but fumbles it MASSIVELY by not playing into it's strengths and just pulling random ♥♥♥♥ out it's ass to make the most incomplete finished product I've ever had the displeasure of playing. If you want my opinion on how the game could have been good, here's a good start. -Add a unit cap that can be adjusted in an "accessibility" option to allow players to tweak their experience -actually, add accessibility sliders for just about everything as I feel lied to and betrayed by this developer and don't trust that he can balance things in a way that makes sense. -remove rubberbanding except for maybe the cargo ships as that would actually add options to how you can approach situations. -add weapons more fitting for taking out multiple enemies -remove the cool down and let it burn in hell -focus more on enemies being tougher to deal with individually rather than relying on swarming you and calling it "difficulty". Sky Rogue, another plane game that swarms you with planes, suffers similarly to this game but at least that game gives you options to deal with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's throwing at you while this one does not. Plus, I can play Sky Rogue's campaign from beginning to end with it only getting bad in the last area, while this game gets bad within the first 40 minutes. I cannot recommend this game to anyone, it's barely a game and doesn't offer a fun gameplay loop to master. Now, I do know there is a sequel to this game called "Top Dog" that I have played briefly, I still need to play it more to see if it improves on any issues here and will edit this review to say whether the sequel is worth checking out.

Fun & simple, I liked it. Good combat flight sim when you're looking for more "combat" and less "flight sim." Graphics have old-school feel without looking dated, more polygons and less "beautifully rendered vistas," which is fine with me, because I'm not on a sightseeing trip - I came to f*** sh*t up. I'd like more variety of planes & weapons but this might help if you're getting the shakes waiting for the next Project Wingman or Ace Combat. This is a positive review.
AFTERBURN is a very simple game at its core...but man does it push the limits of whatever "fighter-pilot" reflexes you have. You get a few aircraft with different strengths and weaknesses, as well as weapon choices unique to each of them, with some overlaps. Then you saddle up for a regularly-changing daily campaign with, well, underpopulated leaderboards (good for the achievement though!). The actual gameplay involves a lot of maniac flying on your end as you barrel roll through barrages of enemy aircraft that always outnumber you and do flips to gun you down, cargo ships that dispense floating, homing air mines, and radar sites that also house SAM launchers. You get an infinite terrain to zip around in as you dodge, roll and explode your enemies one by one...or you get exploded first. AFTERBURN is easy to pick up, hard to master due to its fluid controls that work really well on a controller or Steam Deck, it strikes that middle ground where you die without feeling demoralised, and immediately go another round until you stop dying or are satisfied with your score. Definitely worth the price.
PROS: Great idea, similar to "Ace Combat"; quick matches, very light on PC CONS: Limited enemy variety and a somewhat sparse environment. Overall, though, it's fun... and challenging, especially in the final mission.
Does what it do and does it well
Not bad
If you're used to flying games this one is probably gonna feel weird. It did for me at least. While I understand that it is supposed to be simple and casual, I found that the menu is confusing and the overall game is unclear. The action itself isn't solid at all, I am still not sure what the controls are. It feels like the aircraft isn't doing what I want it to do, even though I am taking down other planes. I don't know if I am hitting the target or even locked-on. Don't know if I am actually accelerating, turning feels very weird, and the aircraft movement was not satisfying, making the dog-fighting subpar.
Nice simple arcade shooter. Really good for quick sessions. Some variety with a few planes, variants and weapons. Still some players on the daily leaderboards if you feel like competing. I got it on sale and I got a solid 3 hours of fun unlocking everything and I plan to return for quick bits of combat up high.
