Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a fun, brain off, PS2 era wrestling game. This is not your big heavy mocap cinematic experience. Just look at some gameplay, know what you're getting in to and it'll be fine.
I've had a lot of fun with this one, as a fan of the original AKI games like No Mercy, WM 2000, and WCW/nWo Revenge. Controls feel right in line with those games - the graphics are great, the career mode is entertaining, the mini games are silly and Mario Party-esque. Being able to time your pyro and various effects in your entrance is very cool but full entrances to the ring are sorely missing. I wish there were more customization options and the ability to switch through your presets in the career mode. Soundtrack is bangin' and there's a nice selection of wrestlers throughout AEW's history. The video packages are nostalgic and well put together. Definitely recommend on a good sale.

If I'm being very honest its a very fun game it just falls off in the creation suite and the story mode is short and under whelming. I hope they can build upon this because this is just their first game so if they build upon it and take a leap in gameplay and creations suite it will rival the 2K and other wrestling games. I do suggest they go down the old school Japanese games like Wrestle Kingdom 2 or Kings Of Colosseum 2 and leave the No Mercy/NWO Revenge type gameplay alone. But if you are a creation freak and love making other wrestlers or your own wrestlers come to life don't get it. But if you just love the gameplay of the older wrestling games I would say give it a shot when its on sale only.
You can actually play this game still, they keep neutering the other game that they become useless...
With 2K taking the p**s and seeing AEW: Fight Forever on sale, I decided to put my money down out of curiosity to see if this game was actually any good. Well let me tell you something Mean Gene, this game ain't it. The game is fun for only a few matches but gets stale very quickly. Gameplay wise it's meh. At first I found it okay and liked how impactful certain moves were but I quickly noticed that the hit detection was all over the place. Strikes or grapples would sometimes just...miss, reversing moves feels more like a dice roll than actually getting the timing down and your character moves like they're stuck in quicksand. I got fed up by it rather quickly. The game severely lacks content and what it does offer is very limited. There's very few match types, the creation suite is bare bones and the career mode 'Road to Elite' feels really low effort and boring. The latter is like a combo between No Mercy's season mode and SvR 08's 24/7 mode, after just an in-game month and winning a championship I already grew sick of it. There's also a ton of mini games here too but they all feel really pointless. As a fan of both pro wrestling and wrestling games I cannot recommend this one. The game is on sale for £8.24 but I payed around £13.22 as I also wanted to play as Matt Hardy and Adam Copeland. Even for that price I felt like I was struggling to get my money's worth out of this game. Just stick to the old N64 games or the Smackdown/SvR series.
Is gut. It is what it is.
