Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"
Aethernaut is a first person puzzle game set in an open steampunk world. Guided by the voice of Cornell, a scientist who claims to want to help you, you are tasked with solving various puzzles to progress and reach the deeper areas of the Construct.
Choose how the story unfolds based on your answers to Cornell’s philosophical questions, as he seeks to better understand your nature and personality. Would you rather be remembered forever as an evil tyrant, or be completely forgotten? Is happiness or usefulness a more important purpose in life? When we fall in love, do we love the real person or just our idea of that person?
Through your answers, you will discover yourself and learn more about your past, and how you are able to survive the deadly aether.
But there is more to the story. As you delve deeper into the abandoned Construct, an unseen entity tries to make contact with you, and begs for your help. Who will you trust? Who are you, really?
Solve puzzle rooms using light, sensors, portals and time travel to gather the aether vials and access the core of the Construct.
Discover hidden secrets within the Construct. Jump, climb, and use the portals to reach new areas.
How will you answer Cornell’s questions? His increasingly personal queries will prompt you to reveal your personality, which will in turn shape the story around you. With 6 possible endings, depending on your answers and how you solve the puzzles (or if you do at all!) Aethernaut will unlock the depths of your soul.
Follow "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this!
Another Portal-adjacent first person puzzlers where you put boxes on buttons. I only played about an hour of this, but the puzzles were very clever, with lots of "aha!" moments. That's the most important thing for a puzzle game, and is the reason I'm giving this a thumbs up. However, nearly everything else about the game is mediocre-to-bad. They tried to do the "Portal narrator" thing that a lot of other similar puzzle games have done, and did not do it well. The performance of this game is absolutely abysmal - I have frame stutters even with a 5080. The game does not look great (with the Unity lighting engine doing all of the heavy lifting in the screenshots). The story and writing seem amateurish. The voice acting is not great. The game is pretty buggy. Still, despite all that, I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for some clever puzzles, as long you've played all the better ones. This one supposedly gets tedious after about 7 hours, but I won't be getting that far.
This was one of those games that was very hard to decide if I would recommend or not. The core gameplay of solving puzzles was very well done, and had some impressive ideas with the challenge increasing over time. However, towards the end game, I found myself hitting the "Complete Puzzle" button quite often because the combination of time travel plus teleportation plus alternative dimensions was way over my head, and I also found the length of the game dragging on. Note that not all puzzles need to be completed in order to finish the game. I was simply stubborn and wanted to collect every puzzle, so I can blame myself a bit for making it drag on. The story was interesting although it's delivery could use some help. I do appreciate the immense amount of voice acting that was included, even if it wasn't the best. The graphics aren't fantastic but what bothered me more was the copy paste of random assets just to fill each room. It made the areas seem cluttered and I honestly would have preferred if the rooms were clean and open. They just didn't add to the atmosphere for me. I ran into a few bugs (which was mostly me jumping out of bounds and breaking puzzles) but nothing game breaking. I did have trouble with a few of the time travel puzzles, as it would highlight objects in green meaning if you interacted with it, it would break the time loop, and certain assets would stay green even after resetting the time loop. I'm not sure if this was a bug or a failure on my part to understand how the time looping system worked, but it was part of the reason I got frustrated with certain puzzles. Music was fantastic. No notes. All in all, I enjoyed my experience even if I kind of rushed the end. Was I saying "Oh god please let it be over soon"? Maybe. But I decided to give a thumbs up because I recognize the cleverness in the puzzle design and the heart that was put into the game. I hope this might help some people on the fence about purchasing. Cheers!

I like this puzzles very much! Some of them are sometimes buggy, but still really great! :)
game runs like ♥♥♥♥, some puzzles are unsolvable until you use the reset cause doors are just not open for some reason
