Developed by the Brazilian studio Ilex Games, players take control of the Solar Champion, a long-dead Plutonian resurrected by the primordial light of the Sun. Tasked with reactivating a mysterious interdimensional fortress, the Champion must restore balance to the multiverse.
As players battle through a series of diverse, interconnected biomes and confront brutal mutant bosses, they will unlock new abilities and enhancements – each revealing deeper layers of the game’s enigmatic, cosmic narrative. The game lives in the spiritual landscape of the original Adventure, brimming with its core elements of exploration, curiosity, and hidden secrets. Adventure of Samsara is a great game, tough but full of detail and atmosphere. as a fan of the original adventure, one of the games I played the most on the Atari, it feels amazing to experience this franchise again after so long!
It's ok. It's not a bad game. It works. It's not a very good one either. Why release this on the same day as Silksong? Baffling. C tier game.

Great little metroidvania, has some charm borrowed from the original prince of persia. Plays great on steam deck and gamehub on android
Really good
Let me get the important pain points out of the way. The controls are sluggish. There's several points at which jumping is pixel perfect with weird ledges that can make you feel soft-locked. But there's a lot of good ideas in here. While multiple metroidvanias give you multiple weapons, rarely do I feel the need to juggle the weapons as I do in this. Multiple bosses require figuring out how to use the arena to your advantage. This is a game I can look at, and be encouraged for what this team will produce in the future. I look forward to seeing the lessons they learn for their next project.
An interesting game, which appears to have been programmed with a lot of love over a long period of time. At first, I thought, well, the controls alone, especially the 'hanging' button combo, are driving me crazy, and within the first few minutes I was already considering not giving the game my attention after all. But on second glance… it’s a work of art. However, the game features wonderful pixel art and has a very charming and exciting atmosphere.
People are sleeping on this game. Definitely give it a play.
Great gameplay, amazing and unique pixel art, interesting and deep background story and lore. Happy to see Atari recovering the Adventure IP with such great game. Sad hat this game didn`t had the hype it deserves. And I want to see more about Ilex Games in the future.
A solid metroidvania with cool atmosphere and design. A bit on the easier side walkthroughwise which is a nice change from the tougher games in the genre.
