Ad Infernum is really impressive, you don't see many indie devs tackle the immersive sim genre massive respect, and they did a great job. It's like a tiny bite sized ImSim/Survival Horror hybrid which are two of my fav genres, sure the areas are small but they are very detailed and offer plenty of player choice and freedom. Exploration is limited given the small project but it still feels rewarding and I loved how gritty/dark the world felt. They even added some Resident Evil type points shop/unlockables which adds some nice replayability which was unexpected. The movement does feel a little jank and there were some odd frame dips, but I didn't encounter any major bugs or issues. Enemy attacks and hitboxes are wonky at times and the story is lacking imo. The music and soundscape is well executed as well, I really like the ending credits song. IDk the last several indies I've taken a chance on were mostly disappointing but this game surprised me it's awesome, just wish it was longer but for the price it's solid. Absolutely recommend to fans of the genre it's a lot of fun. 8/10
Interesting game about exploring an abandoned gas station, getting chased by a guy covered in flies, and then turns out you were being radioed by a biblically accurate angel the entire time. Story is confusing other than the fact you're supposedly checking out a vast underground system place thing under the gas station itself. It's whatever, as said, interesting and cool game. (Pro Tip: when using your inventory, you can see your objectives on the left)

A short and sweet survival horror/immersive sim hybrid. Think Eternal Darkness meets System Shock but in an abandoned gas station. There is a fair bit of jank and some issues with microstuttering, but once I got my bearings I had a very good time with this.
Ad Infernum is a short, yet dense, horror immersive sim with plenty of depth to pass the playtime. You play as an unnamed schmuck who finds themselves trapped in a gas station beset with a demonic presence. You need to carefully venture out from your safe room to find more resources, solve clever puzzles, and avoid the disgusting creatures prowling the gas station (at least until you're well-equipped enough to deal with them), while carefully balancing your health and sanity (the latter of which causes hallucinations at lower levels, brining to mind Eternal Darkness). The map is small (to be expected when the game is set around an otherwise typical gas station), but dense with supplies and secrets. As the game progresses, the demonic influence becomes more and more severe, until you find yourself in a true hellscape. After my 2 hour run, I was impressed by the game by the end. What it lacks in immediate presentation (somewhat simple graphics and limited voice acting), it more than makes up in game and level design. It was a blast to play, and the game does offer replay value as well with achievement hunting and a post-game currency to be used to strengthen your character for the next outing. A well paced adventure, one I would gladly recommend to any fan of the genre.
Ad Infernum is a ingenious blend of immersive simulation, survival horror, and first person stealth and combat. You play a college student on a road trip with a friend. After surviving a wreck, you awake to find yourself in a literal hellscape. The gas station is the only sign of civilization you can find; too bad for you it's haunted. The plot unfolds from there, and the game is so short it would be a crime to spoil any of it for you. This game may not have the flashiest graphics or tightest game play (Aiming was a challenging experience with the control, which the game does support), but it is easy to see that it was made with thought and care. Absolutely recommended for fans of the genre or anyone looking to support a great game from a small studio.
This game is very fun so far, I'm excited to continue!
Permacrashes on startup (using linux mint)
Great horror Imm-Sim, lots of viable ways to get through the game, there's even some nasty skips (I got clipped through a wall by a monster and skipped a quarter of the game, then I jumped from a bridge and skipped another one. Standing on top of cars is a bit OP though.
Neat little game with some fun replay value
