Game isn't as bad as the name makes it sound. Like really, that name is about as boringly generic as you can get. The game isn't half bad though. Gameplay and review/thoughts in video format if that's your thing: https://youtu.be/7glx8QB5K-c

This was God-awful. I kept going on it like, "there's no way someone would think to hit publish on a game this bad, right?" "oh, oh.... ok, I mean, I guess... it's my fault I missed the SMG that I needed. It was super tiny and I couldn't see it, and I figured it would be obvious as everything else was obvious." "Ok, ok, I'm sure I missed the blue key card somewhere... oh, oh, now I need a yellow key card that I also don't have and honestly I don't know what a yellow key card would even look like." Wow, I'm at a complete dead end. And honestly, for a top-down shooter... miss me with this crap. It's just, ewww. I'm not having fun. I've had a wonderful time, and this wasn't it. "Oh, wow, the story that's taking shape...also seems trite and awful." What's good though, is that I'm likely going to go back through every other game that I've ever given a thumbs-down to, and reevaluate if it was really deserving of a thumbs down knowing how bad something could be. Seriously, honestly.... if this were actually broken, it would be more forgivable. Instead, I'm just wondering what here was thought "yeah, this is a good idea!" This is the Ed Wood of videogame productions.
ok lets see since i done used up 8 hrs out of my life, i would say im feeling it...The graphics are ok, game reminds me of Gauntlet...The achievements are pretty easy to get for those trophy hunting...The weapons in the game are pretty cool....the thing is really important you wanna save constantly because if you die you gonna have to go re find everything u had before you died....I can say that's one thing i didnt like so whenever possible save save save, i played a hr of playtime to find out when i died it put me at my last save spot and lost a whole hr of work.....Don't end up like me having a crazy pissed off look on your face when u gotta do everything over....you all been warned.....
This is surprisingly fun. Don't let the visuals put you off; they get the job done, & the game-play is solid. A moderately challenging twin-stick shooter with RPG elements & attractive female characters.
For its rough exterior I really did enjoy the game. The upgrades feel meaningful and there are reasons to use all of the guns at every stage of the game. Biggest negative would be that I didn't feel like the followers really had strong identities in combat. All in all, a nice casual shooter. Not sure I'll buy the 2nd one. It was released just a month after the first and looks largely the same?
While I realize I have not yet put much time into this game, I find first impressions can often be as informative to potential buyers as the more thorough reviews posted by 100%-ers and others who have completed the game. After playing through the first level, I am quite happy with this game. In terms of gameplays mechanics, it's a fairly standard top-down shooter. It's technically competent, boasting a tight-but-smooth comtrol scheme, high-quality albeit cartoony visuals, and good audio effects backed by energetic-yet-uninvasive music. In terms of design logistics, environment is well designed though interactive elements could stand out more. Character and weapon upgrade systems are creative but not overly complex, offering some depth without being overwhelming. Most important of all, after finishing the first level, I am very excited to continue. I stopped just long enough to throw down this review and now plan to get right back in the game. Overall, I highly recommend this game to fans of the top-down shooter genre and anyone looking for an action-packed shooter that's easy to pick up but offers enough depth to keep you interested. If it's important to anyone, I purchased this game at a 60% discount, which might skew the perceived value of the product. However, I believe the game is in fact worth the listed retail price.
It's kinda fun. Like Town of Machine but more action-oriented and without an inventory. You also don't need to hammer down the E key in order to pick things up. There are downsides though......... Like with many other games of this dev, the balance is all over the place. I kinda fail to understand where the fun is in having a room with a number of switches, only accessible one after another, and each switch opens a door and spawns a bigger and stronger enemy horde than the previous one. This is rinse and repeat all over the game. At some point, the enemies are so numerous that they fill multiple screens while your space to maneuver is limited. Enemies can and will shoot at you beyond your own visual range and generally tend to shoot a trillion projectiles your way, so have fun. Some of these are slow, but will follow you around persistently (yes they can turn 180°). Others won't follow, but are very fast and / or numerous. You can actually deflect them, which I guess is encouraged, but does not seem to work all that well. You just can't focus on timing the slash and aiming the slash, while dodging a bit, while evading the dozens of enemies, while maybe also shooting a bit (which obviously doesn't work well while trying to slash). I started on Brutal difficulty (thought it's fitting, as I play most games on high diff), which is not the highest one. But after almost 3 hours, I am basically stuck. There's no way of me having enough ammo for this (see above), nor would I have enough health or armor pickups around in order to beat that without re-trying a million times. I uninstalled the game at this point, as the frustration became a little too much. Try one of the first 2-3 difficulties and you may enjoy this from start to end, else you may end up like me. It's rather cheap and I guess it's more fun on a lower difficulty. Recommending it is a bit of a struggle though at this point, so much that I'd wish for a third rating between Recommended and Not Recommended.
