This is what us old timers would call a 'rental.' It's fun for a bit, and then you're just done with it. Get some pizza, drinks, and friends and have a blast beating the snot out of each other for a few hours. No real depth to keep you coming back, though.

I like this a lot and really love that it allows custom content. Made one character and out of curiosity was overloaded with a bunch of cool player made creations. 5/5 but I would've loved to have seen either mods to the wrestler lab or this base game. If not at least a little update maybe like "super" buffs that allow for more crazy situations but the buff is more temporary going off a time limit type thing. Mod wise the main thing I think would be cool is the ability to add custom animations or moves that stay within the game's range of fairness so to speak but would add more character to custom characters. Hence why I mentioned maybe it be for wrestle lab or this. But nonetheless this game is great and I love the base game stuff as much as the custom content. Thank you all so much! 🤘😎🤌

As is the actual wrestling in this game is pretty bare-bones with some animations looking clunky or too stiff. The real charm of the game therefor is not the gameplay itself unfortunately, but in the novelty of the custom content you can create or download. It's undeniably fun (for a little while) to play a wrestling match with a ninja turtle against the likes of batman or 1980's Hulk Hogan dropping the leg on Todd McFarlane's Spawn. Beyond that though, there just isn't much under the hood. You get exhibition matches and can create gauntlets which feels like a poor excuse for a career or season mode. Probably because it is. The game has potential, but it really needs a lot of love and care to make it last. Even little details like post-match celebrations and physical championship belts are missing. How hard is it to make a belt that can attach to a wrestler's hand during intros or play a cinematic camera celebration after a win? All in all, if you're a fan of wrestling and crazy dream matches and you can find this on sale for less than five bucks? Sure, give it a go.

https://blog.naver.com/jampuri/223091872105 <- 장문의 리뷰는 이쪽. 미국 인디 게임 개발사에서 만든 프로 레슬링 게임. 게임 그래픽만 보면 3D 게임인 것 같은데 실제로는 캐릭터만 3D 셀 세이딩으로 만들고 게임 시점과 게임 플레이 감각은 2D 게임이다. 다른 프로 레슬링 게임에 대입하면 닌텐도 64용 'WWF 노머시'처럼 보였는데. 실제로 해보니 테크노스 저팬의 'WWF 레슬페스트'였다. 복잡한 커맨드를 사용할 필요 없이, 버튼 2개만으로 어지간한 기술을 다 쓸 수 있게 만들어진 조작 설계에서는 유저의 편의를 봐준 느낌이 드는데. 문제는 그걸 제외한 나머지 부분은 불친절하다는 점이다. 태그 매치 모드에서 2 VS 2부터 5 VS 5까지 다양하게 지원을 하는 반면. 게임 스토리 모드는 고사하고 챔피언쉽 모드 같은 것도 없어서 싱글 플레이의 재미가 없다. 처음부터 멀티 플레이를 상정하고 만든 느낌이라 싱글 플레이를 할 유저는 생각을 하지 않은 것 같다. 싱글 플레이로 재미를 느끼려면 창작 모드에서 캐릭터를 직접 만들어 굴리는 방법밖에 없는데. 그 창작 모드가 게임 본편에서 자체 지원하는 게 않는 게 문제다. 창작 모드를 이용하려면 별도의 앱을 추가로 설치하고. 이메일/비번을 만들어 로그인하고. 서버에 업로드한 다음, 게임 본편의 크리에이션 모드에서 다운 받아 적용시켜야 하는 게 존나 번거롭기 때문에. 굳이 그런 수고를 들이면서까지 캐릭터를 만들어야 하는지 의문마저 든다. 개발진이 게임의 기본 틀만 만들어 놓고 나머지는 유저들이 알아서 만들어 나가라는 식으로 방치한 느낌을 지울 수 없다.
