About

Crafted with passion by the dream team that redefined side-scrolling beat 'em ups, Absolum mixes top-of-the-class combat action with modern roguelite elements, bringing all the vibes of the fantasy arcade hits of the past into an immersive adventure set in the original world of Talamh.

Talamh has been shattered by a magical cataclysm caused by ambitious wizards, leaving magic mistrusted by the common folk. Sun King Azra took advantage of this panic, enslaving wizards through his Crimson Order and placing loyal princes to rule over the conquered realms.
As Azra’s forces claim more and more lands, the high enchantress Uchawi and a small group of rebels rise from the shadows, wielding forbidden magic to challenge his oppressive regime and defy his absolute magic power.

Meet the outcast heroes of Talamh, each with their unique fighting style.
From the shadows of Yeldrim, Galandra emerges as an unstoppable force of nature. Her colossal sword strikes with deadly precision, combined with chilling, destructive necromantic powers. Her calm demeanor is a thin veil, barely concealing the furious anger brewing inside her.
Karl is the last free dwarf of Talamh. Armed with an ancestral blunderbuss and his bare fists, he’s a master of close-range brawls and explosive tactics. What he lacks in reach at mid-range, he makes up for with raw strength and quick thinking, making him a stalwart ally in the revolt against Azra's oppression.
During their ordeals, two mysterious heroes will join them on a quest to overthrow the Sun King: Brome, a wizard prodigy on a mission to preserve the future generations of his people, and the enigmatic Cider, a nimble skirmisher in search of answers among the scattered fragments of their own soul.

Absolum combines Dotemu and Guard Crush’s mastery in beat ‘em up gameplay with Supamonks' best-in-class art and animation. With its fast-paced action and endless replayability, Absolum will challenge you with multiple paths to explore and unpredictable encounters for a new experience each time you play.

Take down Azra’s elite guard with a mix of rapid combo chains and spellcasting powers, unleashing moves that feel as raw as they are strategic. Use magical counters and rare items to turn the tide in your favor and experience a combat system that demands skill and timing, pushing you to craft new strategies at every run to wreak havoc among the enemy ranks.

Lead the uprising against Azra's regime as a lone hero, or team up with a friend on your couch or online. Combine your elemental powers and synchronize your attacks into incredible chained combos!
The world of Talamh is an intricate tapestry brimming with secrets, stories, and betrayals. From the majestic mines of Grandery to the lush forests of Jaroba, every step of your odyssey will be accompanied by a magnificent soundtrack by composer Gareth Coker (Ori, Halo Infinite, Prince of Persia), with collaborations from Yuka Kitamura (Dark Souls, Elden Ring), Mick Gordon (Doom Eternal, Atomic Heart), and more!

Reviews
It's a terrific beat-em-up with tight controls, tons of secrets, fantastic visual style, and a story that's a bit more complex that it first seems. Easily worth the money if you enjoy rogue-likes, beat-em-ups, or action games.
Excelente combinación entre beat 'em up y roguelite.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun game no comment
I quite enjoyed this game. It reminds me of castle crashers, but more modern and mature. You go to a zone, fight mobs as a brawler, get a reward, go to the next zone. The different elements are interesting enough to make each run unique and the ultimates change the playstyle sufficiently. Occasionally dodging feels a bit off, but that might just be me being bad at games. There is a story that's interesting enough if that's what you're looking for, but the gameplay is the real draw in my opinion. Overall a great experience that plays exactly as the gameplay videos present it as.
Really fun beat-em-up with a beautiful art style and banger soundtrack.
oyun bence mekanik olarak fazlasıyla yeterli tekrar oynanabilirliği yüksek ve her run da farklı bir deneyim yaşatıyor ama co-op bağlantı problemi can sıkıyor tek oynayacaksan sarar arkadaşla girersen can sıkar keyifli oyunlar
Absolum is a great game mashup that hasn't been done this well before, as far as I've seen. Being a Beat 'em Up crossed with a Rogue-like is such a great and addicting combo. From the start of the game it sets a good mood and pace for the initial Beat 'em up genre, then as soon as you have a failure, you get introduced to the whole Rogue-like loop the game follows. The art style is really strong and readable, much more comic looking art with bold lines and clear shapes it makes each enemy easy to identify. Each area is very distinct with diverse designs and new unique enemies with interesting time locked events and sometimes new areas opening up with each run. Each run you do gives multiple options of buffs to each attack, modifiers which give you different builds you take on a run. There are more finishers and special attacks from your gauge to use that unlock the more runs you do. You can also buy items in on each run that give different buffs and eventually sell them for something else. The fun thing you get is a different route each run you can take, which means there are different bosses you can face, and the rewards a randomized each time too. Over all, this game is really fun even solo and I'm excited to try with a friend.
