For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great PNC adventure. Lots of Kathy Rain vibes. If you like darker PNC adventures, check this out!
This is a dark, grim, Lovecraftian point-and-click game with decent graphics and a pretty cool story with multiple endings. However, the adventure game engine has some glaring problems that a game released in the 2020s should not have. For example, sometimes when you click on an object, your character stands in front of it, preventing you from seeing or clicking on it again unless you move your character away. But it's nothing game-breaking. It's not the best game in the genre, but it may be worth checking out.
While it doesn't stray too much from the genre's conventions storywise, it's a competently made horror story and well presented when it comes to graphics and sound. (The latter being noteworthily well done.) It's of decent length for its price range, too. Only weak aspect would be the actual gameplay as it's more of a narrative to click through with only few puzzles and those being rather simple, too. (Think: "use crowbar with door" level of difficulty.) Still fun enough to recommend, so I do.

Highly recommended for any point-and-click horror fans. The writing is wonderfully deep, unfolding the backstory without relying on heavy exposition. The characters were sympathetic and even endearing, to the point where certain reveals came as a genuine shock. The worldbuilding is solid and leaves enough mystery to keep you wondering about what else is lingering at the edges. The music was great, very evocative and atmospheric without dragging us out of the story. Then, the endings--none of the four endings felt like the "correct" or "golden" ending, merely four different ways to approach a satisfying conclusion to the story. Very well done. The game itself was the right blend of challenging and rewarding, though there were two locations in which we had trouble locating all the objects we needed to complete the scene's puzzles. That said, it wasn't a pixel-hunt, and the scene design usually felt both natural and logical. The only other criticism I can provide is I wish it were longer! We'll be looking forward to additional games from this dev with great interest.
Abscission is an excellent game Lovecraftian point and click adventure game, with an excellent story, sound design and music. I recommend it to adventure game fans.
This game was a really fun one, and I'm not even a Lovecraftian fan at all. I'm looking forward to the developer's next game: The Tragic Loss of M. Slazak.
Very good game and truer to Lovecraftian horror than most games that profess to be. Very enjoyable. Without giving spoilers, don't stress about the outcomes of your choices; make the choices you think you should make in each instance (no scum-saving!). I'm not a huge fan of how the ending moment is done, but I can appreciate the thinking behind it and still enjoyed it.
Lovecraftian elements woven in with restraint, otherworldly yet ordinary, never overblown, simply brilliant. Quite punchy for a short game, well worth playing.
Thank you reddit for turning me onto this game! A real good Lovecraftian/Cronenbergian horror story! Would have liked to have been able to get all the endings without replaying the game, but I can respect the choice. Grade: A+
saw 3 of the 4 endings, really enjoyed playing it. story grew slowly on my and at the end i was really into it. interface design could be better. love the pixelart. music/sfx are a mixed bad
