Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30/day in the week to Sep 1 → 34.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Home to the world's greatest minds, GATE operates a global network of secretive research laboratories, spanning every field of scientific study - and the realms beyond.
As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually.
After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos.
Containment procedures have failed and help isn’t on the way. Stranded miles beneath the surface, it’s up to you and your fellow scientists to band together, plan your escape, and make this underground complex your new home - for now.

Abiotic Factor brings a 90’s sci-fi twist and rich character progression to the multiplayer open world survival crafting genre. Up to 6 players can choose their PhDs, build their scientist, gear up, and explore a massive subterranean complex, filled with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and science experiments gone awry.

Between alien threats hunting their next meal, trigger happy soldiers, and the world’s most advanced robotic security forces attacking personnel working overtime, there’s no shortage of danger. As a scientist, fighting isn’t your forte, so you’ll need to put your PhD to work to outwit your opponents: craft ingenious and outlandish tools, weapons and gear, from simple nets and wooden bats to laser-cannons and elaborate traps - everything your big science brain can muster!

Make yourself at home - you’re here for the long haul. Scavenge resources from vacant offices and empty labs, raid vending machines, and steal company property to build a new base of operations as you explore the facility. When it’s time for a change of scenery, pack up your belongings and move them across the facility using handcarts, forklifts, SUVs, teleporters, and more.

Don your lab coat and earn your PhD: from Phytogenetic Botanist to Defense Analyst and Archotechnic Consultant (and many, many more), each with its own advantages essential to survival. Combine traits and skills, then level up to earn perks and abilities with your fellow scientists to forge a formidable scientific force.

Working at GATE may have been a dream job, but dying here wasn’t part of your five year plan. Explore this massive underground facility as well as many worlds beyond and take full advantage of the most advanced technology unknown to mankind in this interdimensional sci-fi adventure!

Very good game that you don't want to miss out on
Just a simulator of an average day in Black Mesa.
Story - 7.5/10
Surprisingly enough, the story is pretty good, considering it's a damn survival. But it keeps you relatively engaged, has some neat plot twists, and has you travel through a lot of different "biomes", be it different departments of the GATE, or straight up different universes. Different recurring NPCs, with a small side stories of their own, also help the narrative. It's linear, there are barely any choices to make, but it works surprisingly well. The formula is simple: you get to a new location -> you receive some major quest of what you're supposed to do in this location in order to progress to the next -> you go through the gameplay loop of usual survival gameplay in a new biome. Think Valheim, but with a bit of extra steps and fixed locations.
Gameplay - 7.5/10
Nothing mind blowing in terms of combat or base building, but it is pretty diverse and fun. You have ranged and melee options. You get to progress from just using whatever stuff you can salvage and turn into makeshift gear, and all the way to experimental, pure sci-fi ♥♥♥♥. Starting off with a bucket for a helm, shield made of cafeteria trays, makeshift crossbow made from rubber bands and rulers, shooting sharpened pencils... and then ending up with hardlight swords, laser guns and black hole grenades. Building is relatively limited, especially compared to it's peers. You barely build anything other than workbenches, chests, farms and barricades. So if you're here to make some sick base builds to share with the community - feel free to move along; this is not where the game shines. The best part, imo, is the whole premise of you not starting off as butt-naked guys stranded somewhere, having to punch wood and slowly progress from stone age technologies, somehow all the way to modern ♥♥♥♥. You are a bunch of scientists, office workers who got stuck in their office and forced to survive as it's being invaded by visitors from other dimensions. Meaning that you have access to a lot of already made stuff, which you can salvage and repurpose. You have PCs to dismantle, you have metal and other more complex materials, you can loot guns and alien materials. In short - it feels fresh, it feels unique in a sense that you're like Mark Watney from The Martian. Stranded, doomed to die, but having access to a lot of high tech stuff and an intellect to use it.
Graphics - 7/10
Let me make one thing straight: I am NOT a big fan of retro style graphics. In this particular case, though, it's clear what this game used as inspiration and tried to reference. GATE is reimagined Black Mesa, so naturally the game does it's best to look like Half Life 1, in every little way, WHILE managing to keep it's own identity and look unique enough. So... credit where credit is due - it actually worked. Take it from someone who doesn't like retro visuals and is not even a fan of Half Life. If even I enjoyed it, maybe it's worth a try =)
Sound - 7/10
There isn't too much to say here; there's no banger soundtrack or too much of voice acting, or some dramatic moments. But overall, it's good. Just like graphics, it had a style it was trying to replicate, and it succeeded.
Conclusion
7.5/10. If you want a fully procedurally generated sandbox world, to make your bases from scratch and keep making them bigger and better... It's not this kind of game. It's a linear story, but with survival core gameplay loop. You can't just go from point A to point B, kill everyone you meet and interact with the quest objective. You need to farm resources, get better gear, and proceed through each new location whilst opening shortcuts in soulslike fashion. And whenever you complete an objective, you progress the story (yes, actual story, not a notion of one) forward. Great in coop, most likely good in single player, too.

Всем советую, всем рекомендую, для тех, кто любит исследовать и созидать. Интересный опыт в плане выживания, 1 из первых моих "выживалок".
Hours Played: 138.3 hrs on Steam Recommended: ✔️ Absolutely Abiotic Factor is a fun, silly, and surprisingly deep survival‑crafting game set in a collapsing science facility full of weird experiments and stranger creatures. Even after more than a hundred hours, I still haven’t finished it — not because it drags, but because it keeps pulling me into new crafting loops, new areas, and new “what is that?” moments. The crafting system feels different but familiar, easy to learn and satisfying to progress through. I didn’t play much multiplayer, but the sessions I did have were great — chaotic, loud, and full of unexpected disasters. Even with limited co‑op time, it’s clear the game was built with that energy in mind. Solo play still holds up well, with good pacing, strong progression, and plenty of strange encounters to keep things interesting. The tone stays consistently goofy without becoming annoying, and the game’s jank tends to add charm rather than frustration. It’s a unique mix of science‑comedy and survival gameplay that works better than it has any right to. Verdict: A fun, goofy, and engaging survival‑crafting game with its own identity. Deep enough to keep you hooked, silly enough to stay light, and absolutely worth the hours.
extremely boring after midgame extremely ♥♥♥♥ guns a lot of useless stuff grind the same resourses for billion times worst death bag spawn mechanic ever overall boring
