What a beautiful game! I love the graphics, music and whole general vibe; it's very relaxing and peaceful. It makes me feel like I am in an actual storybook! I love the concept and all the interactive features. Also the puzzles really make you think. It has a charm to it that makes you want to keep playing to see what is next in the story. A must play!
It was a beautiful journy into a small foreign world. The minimalistic graphics, the relaxing music and the pleasant story was just right for a dreary (rainy/stormy) sunday. In my opinion it is worth the money without any problems.
I'm in love! beautiful in it's simplicity, this game takes me back to my youth when you would dwelve into a pc game you got a copy of on a slick 5.25 disk and went to town! Really reminds me of a game called BELOW THE ROOT that was a side scrolling open world game way ahead of it's time and actually makes me long to see amodern remake with this style, anyway, great wholesome easy to follow along game i want to take my time with because I can tell I'll be sad when it's over!
A Winding Path is a charming and original experience, offering chilled out gameplay that provides just enough of a challenge. It’ll take 2-3 hours to complete but there is plenty of scope to spend longer in the game for those who want to explore in detail or become a master at the Artemis Archery Club! The beautiful combination of gameplay and styling give this title a unique and wholesome feel, it has the potential to appeal to a range of player preferences and I highly recommend it! Play as a rainmaker who needs to get people together for a feast of happiness and solve the mystery of why the sea vanished. Armed with a Lyre that creates a cloud of rain for a few seconds when played, the rainmaker will have to understand and help people, as well as rinse them a few times, in the fantasy world of A Winding Path. A Winding Path is a walking simulator adventure developed and self-published by Three Eyed Games on the 26th of August 2021 on the Steam platform. The game is also available on Nintendo Switch. What a lovely little game set in a black-and-white hand-drawn world where stick people live; I was a bit uncertain as to what to expect from this game. It’s pretty much a storytelling game where your character will move from one place to another and figure out puzzles. Most of these puzzles are tasks you’ll receive from an NPC to complete; for example, talk to someone or find something and come back. There are a couple of mechanical puzzles where you have to put boxes on a button on the floor type-of-thing, but that’s it. The rainmaker will visit a few places in this adventure. The first area will provide more of an understanding of the story with a few little puzzles. Then, he’ll fly over to a larger area where he will be visiting five different locations. This will be where most of the interactions will occur, and you’ll also have a sort of archery competition to attend. I think the developers really put some thought into creating variety, which is refreshing because the game is a bit on the slower side. As you complete some of the tasks, you’ll receive a drewdrop. This drewdrop will automatically be placed in a book when you visit the temple, which will unlock some hats your character can wear for fun. There are 12 drewdrops to collect in total. It’s an interesting little game that you’ll probably finish within 5 hours of gameplay, but there is not much replayability, I am afraid. I like the black and white sketch-style graphics and the story. In terms of the controls, you’ll play this game with your keyboard. Positives: ~~~~~~~ + Nice hand-drawn graphics + Interesting story + Mostly task puzzles with a few mechanical ones + Easy to play + Achievements Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - No trading cards as yet - Lack of replayability A Winding Path is beautifully presented and narrated with puzzles, but it is slow and probably good enough for one playthrough. 6/10 Key provided by the developer/publisher for review purposes. ~2h Playtime, if you ain't looking for all the secrets. Minimalistic Art. Minimalistic Story. Minimalistic Gameplay. But that's just enough to make this a good game if you do not wanna indulge into a RDR2 experience but instead have just something to sort some (light) riddles. The story is action-based, leaving depper lore question open for your very own interpretation. Since the developers are German, I can assure you that at least the German dialogues are pretty neat and entertaining. If you wanna unlock everything you may be busy a little bit longer than 2.5h. Cannot tell, honestly, because I did not find all that stuff. It was worth my time - perhaps it's worth yours!
This was a short and sweet little game. It is a nice story, with some simple mechanics, that was a joy to play!
This game is a very nice little indie gem. We had a lot of fun playing it. The story is cute and a bit fairytale-like and fantastic. Collecting the achievements was also a nice goal for us. The puzzles were not always obvious (but never unfair) and so we were able to puzzle a little. The minimalist graphic style in the style of animated pencil drawings reminded me of my school days when I used to doodle similar sketches during breaks and was the main reason for my purchase. The music and sounds are fitting and create a cosy atmosphere. It was a very enjoyable journey, I highly recommend this game to any adventure game fan. Hopefully we'll see another game from these devs.

Voto: 8,5/10 e lode
