A Weekend in Puzzleburg

It's a cute, relaxing game - a little short but worth replaying. I will be replaying to read the other books. If I lived in Puzzleberg I'd be addicted to the tv shows and books. I truly wish Wheel of Misfortune was real. One thing I can think of to improve is that I'd have liked to see a completion list or a percentage to make sure I did everything before the end. I think it's worth a shot, so try it out. PS - the developer just wrote out a list of all possible quests (thank you so much!). Apparently I've missed three. TT_TT So it's time for my fourth new game. (spoiler?): By they way, the capital city of Turkey is Ankara - not Istanbul.

"A Weekend in Puzzleburg", for starters, is a steam's hidden gem! It doesn't matter what your gaming preferences are, as it is sure that you'll have a nice time with this one! You get to pass a weekend in Puzzleburg, a cozy-picturesque town that's full of life and vibrant characters, each with their unique story. Their stories can be bittersweet, happy, funny, sad, homesick, outright unbelievable and imaginary to down to earth, everyday stuff, romantic, stressful, exciting. Their stories are of all colors and flavors, surely some will match your taste to make you bond with them and the experience at hand. It's an "open-town world" game in which you get to decide how you will pass your time and which activities you want to do. The side quests enrich the experience, without making it feel forceful or crambed up. The length is decent for a weekend but, like on real vacation, time flies by and you only wish to return for more. You can go shopping, sight-seeing, read a book, grab food, do horse riding, go on a cruise and anything else your heart desires and you could do on a trip. Especially with the latest free update you can even play a variation of hide and seek. To cut this short, you can do almost anything you can imagine if you were vacationing on a small town. It feels natural. The dialogues, tv shows and books are very well written. The soundtrack is perfect for the game and the dev made a great selection of when to use what music track; add to this the title song and you get this great result. The game is extremely immersive and achieves its goal in truly making you feel like you are on a vacation and selecting your activities according to your likings, even if there is a path you have to eventually follow as the game progresses. Sweet and simple but, it will make you reflect inwards and ask for more. This trait alone will make you return for, yet another, playthrough and this time you might want to do things differently. such a chill errand quest game

JRPG games like this have always had a special place in my heart, and I instantly fell in love with this one when I played the demo. While it doesn't have any of the drama or action that many of the popular JRPGs have (Corpse Party, Misao, Mad Father, etc.), this game still had quests you could complete, character arcs where you could learn about the NPCs, and still got to make choices on how to spend your weekend. It doesn't take very long to complete, so it truly can be completed on a weekend afternoon too, unless you want to go through all the options which gives it a lot of replayability~ This is a cute and fun game and I definitely recommend playing it!
