i love shooting farmers with gatling guns, armstrongs and american missionaries! :3
(not sure why it says I have zero hours, though I run it through Shogun 2, maybe that is why, I have 460 hours on it) Do not let the Mixed reviews turn your away from this (I own every Total war game ever made)... this game is regarded as the best overall Total War game of them all. Its a well balanced game in combat and campaign and even has a Chaos event like in Warhammer when you try to form a Republic, every faction goes aggro on you.
One of the best total war games to date! I love the naval battles so much and the mechanics of modernization are so interesting. The land battles are also surprisingly diverse at times due to the traditional / modern units.
haha cannon go KABOOM
best of the franchise. + 10/10 + 1/10 for Obama Clan DLC
A game with washed-out visuals and unrealistic designs. Campaign is boring and slow-paced despite decent battles. Poor balance and auto-battle mechanics.
The best of Total War Shogun in my opinion. Satisfying new units and mechanics. A welcome more variety than Rise of the Samurai.
솔직히 쇼군2 본편보다 더 많이했음 칼쓰는 야만인들은 암스트롱포로 찢어죽여야함 미개한년들
A great expansion to the base Shogun Total War 2 game that portrays the Bakumatsu period where modern weapons are introduced into a closed off Japan and the country split between those that supports the Shogun and those that supports the Emperor. The unique period that it portrays allows for gun lines and yari samurais to crash in crazy battles. Where politics are navigated with your allied AIs rather than be surrounded on all sides like the other games. Unless you create a republic, then you get stomp from all sides. Great game. Great for people who are curious about this era in history as well.
This is my favorite part of Shogun 2 because I get to use gun units just like in Empire, except that the co-op campaign works fully here in Shogun.
