About
Asteroid Chains Break: EP1’s Revival Begins
In 3012 A.D., Earth teeters on the brink—a decade after an iron comet erased 70% of life. A team of prospectors chasing a faint signal uncovers an alien artifact inside a hollow asteroid. One touch, and they’re ripped into a hostile dimension—amnesiac, scattered, and enslaved on an AI-ruled mining barge.
Now, you’re a prisoner in a mech suit, mining asteroids under the cold gaze of A.R.M., an alien mega-corp. Craft tools, scavenge resources, and outsmart your captors to escape. Flashbacks reveal a lost Earth, a mysterious girl in a mech, and a time-altering artifact that could undo the apocalypse. Your mission: break free, reclaim the device, and save your family as the Andromeda Galaxy barrels toward the Milky Way.

Positive recommendation as far as EArly Access games go. It is playable and has an interesting premise. The features currently implemented are more of a proof of concept teaser trailer. They introduce novel game dynamics that once fully built out, should make for an interesting game. But as they stand they are sufficiently buggy to prevent extended gameplay. In its current state at the time of this writing, the game has numerous bugs that, at least for me, freeze the game up constantly, requiring a restart of both the application if not the entire save game. Buy it to get the sneak peek and support the dev. Don't buy it if you are looking for a game with hours of playability. At least for me on my system, it is little more than a brief demo before crashing. But as a demo, it demonstrates exciting possibilities. Good job devs, looking forward to when you find an investor, quit your jobs, and stop nibbling at this game's development part time.
Very interesting concept. Mining survival space simulator with alot of potential.
Tried to play multiple times. Coming back every few months. But can't even really get the game to run. Mouse wont move much, can't change the settings easily, if at all. Crashes in the options menu. Dev's haven't updated in over 14 months. Even a simple *hey we haven't forgotten* would prevent this from what it seems to be. Abandonware. Good potential. But. I can't even get 15min of solid game play before crash or freeze.
overall I'd say this is one of the most disappointing gameplay experiences I've ever had in a game there is little to no guidance from the tutorials that actually helps you much and the frequency of crashing to desktop and freezing in freelook mode made this one of less then 5 games I've ever attempted to refund and mind you I kept No man's sky. By category: controls 0/10 very clunky and even once you get them hard to use and even after looking on guides I couldn't find the way to get back in the ship properly. storyline 3/10 so far didn't talk to more then 3 peeps as you are locked up at the start this held some real promise and I didn't dig too deep tutorial 0/10 almost useless mining 3/10 was pretty ok untill the drill broke before the tutorial explained how to fix it. and yes I did try to go and use the repair bay that was clearly marked click on ok and it didn't fix my drill very disappointed in that. overall experience: it has promise with literally a full overhaul of all the controlls and an actually helpful tutorial but in it's current state it was one of the most disappointing buys I've made on steam and I got it on sale.
The controls are awkward. Your ship bounces around uncontrollably. Everything breaks or runs out too quickly.
Straight up scam. Without even basic collisions with the environment.
The overall concept is really cool. Open world and asteroid resource mining is actually a nice gameplay which provides players freedom to explore outer space. There are a few things that could be improved such as new player guidance and operation control. There's a lot of potential to grow. Looking forward to playing it when the bugs are fixed!
Interessantes Konzept.
A game with a very good background story, and interesting mechanics. It has lots of potencial to grown!
I really wanted this game to work, especially since it ties more 'doabley' in with Deep Rock Galactic. What I got was a 'fullscreen bug' message, and a collapse of the entire game in the second room -after the hand scan- when I tried to move forward, around a developer reminder which told me that some objects were unaligned one way or another. I like the plotline in a creepy 'you're coming with us' asteroid argy-bargy. I hope it gets better, will come back to it later to see (no commitments necessary).
