Love the game! Simple and it's cute!
This game isn't super long, so I don't wish to spoil too much. I will say, though, this game takes a rather morbid topic and handles it with a lot of respect and honesty. It also touches on some other topics that affect this industry and, by extension, all of us one way or another. With the added bonus of achievements, trading cards, and all the little goodies that come along with that, I think this was well worth the purchase. Aside from my few failings at a specific minigame, it was a really nice, calm experience that I quite enjoyed; and, while these topics weren't new to me, it was nice to experience the perspective that A Mortician's Tale provided. If you see this on sale, or really want to support the dev, I highly recommend picking this one up!

this game gave me a moment of peace it made it so i appreciate my life and freinds a bit more, by letting you prepare others loved ones for their funerals
This is a very light recommend for me. I really enjoyed the concept, but the story is just way too short. For a $10 game, finishing everything in about an hour feels like a bit of a rip‑off. The idea behind it absolutely hits, and I wish they had built it out into something longer and more substantial. I also wish I could have done the cadaver’s makeup instead of leaving that to the other employees—it felt like a missed opportunity for more meaningful interaction. Overall, it’s an interesting concept with good intentions, but I just wanted more from it.
Short and sweet. I also learned quite a few things about the profession. Recommended!
Lasted about 2 funeral's too long for my taste, felt repetitive by that point. Rating: 12/25
A beautifully crafted and therapeutic look into the death industry and various approaches to how we treat the deceased. Explicitly pro-LGBT even if it's only in the background. Arguably a bit pricey for the length, but I'd say the care put into handling the subject justifies it. Read everything on the computer. That's where the real game is.
This game was such a lovely, inclusive, and sweet story. It handled tough topics with grace.
Awesome short story game
Really really good
