Only reviewing this to warn folks... I had this in my wishlist for a long time. Finally bought it on sale. I open the game and it just freezes. I can't "start" or even "quit." I have to close the window. No matter what I do, on my PC that fits all the system requirements and can run much larger and more demanding games with no problem. Looking through the community forums this may have been an issue that's been going on for years and the reason why the latest reviews that actually show up are years old. On the dev's website the only way to contact them is to call them or send a letter via snail mail. There is nothing in their help articles about it, and I found a forum post on steam saying the publisher would try to reach out to the dev to fix it...from 2018. No further response. I'm submitting for a refund. Don't waste your time trying...

A cute and charming "mystery dungeon"-esque RPG game. By far the biggest selling point of this game is the amount of detail and effort that went into the naming system of spells. Naming spells gives them effects based on names and works mostly like you'd expect it to if you're naming it as a reference (for example: Cure heals you. Starlight Breaker is a giant pink beam of energy.)

It plays alot like chocobo mystery dungeon everybuddy to a point. explore a dungeon discover spells craft your own damage and learn what items do through trial and error

its a fun quirky game that allows you to create ridiculous spells that will entrap you in your own creations. 10/10 would make minefields again the size of the corridor i walk through.
