Wonderful OST and movement feels satisfying. The story (relies too much on trying to make you laugh) and sometimes even the level design (seems somewhat inspired by Super Mario Sunshine and Psychonauts which is great! but it's missing some of what makes those work) is lacking around many edges, but it still manages to charm me. Not sure if the DLC addresses this better but it doesn't matter, this is on the base game. It got laggy in some levels (and felt quite unplayable at some points) but it wasn't like that the whole way through. The main redeeming factor of this game is The Conductor. And for that reason, it's a thumbs up for me. The replayability for this game seems to be just doing the levels faster, it seems? Which might be fine if you like it, but it can be a bit boring only wearing one hat (the speed hat) the entire time.
I LOVE HATS NOW
A really fun 3d platformer, surprisingly doesn't seem like it at first but if you give it a shot you'll be pleasantly surprised.
between this and mario odyssey, i'll choose this any day of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ week.

one of the single best games i have ever played
A silly game with a lot of charm, easy to fall in love with :)
Очень милая, очень комфортная и очень уютная игра.
The one and only regret I have about buying this game is that it sat in my library for far too long before I played it. A Hat in Time is a platformer that you can tell was crafted with a lot of love and passion. The worlds are breath taking and full of color and life. The characters are unique and unforgettable. The soundtrack is a work of art in itself and I found myself listening to it between play sessions. The story had a certain charm about it that kept me coming back until I reached the conclusion. The boss fights were some of the most fun I've had in awhile. Movement is silky smooth and the controls feel just right making even the most challenging platforming sections feel amazing and rewarding. Customization and modding galore. There is what seems to be a very active community that is producing new downloadable levels and mods to keep you coming back for more. The official DLC was worth the price of admission as well. Even after close to 32 hours I still feel like I could go back and enjoy this game just as much as I did the first time. I could gush about this game on and on forever but at the end of the day this is a solid game and I could not recommend it enough to anybody. Pick it up and don't be like me. Don't let this gem sit in your library unplayed. Go experience A Hat in Time, you won't regret it. A Hat in Time is one of the best platformers I've played in recent memory.
