Enjoy this short 15-minute first chapter of A Father's Growth Spurt. Which includes:
Resource Management:
Choose each day between maintaining the water and fertilizer levels, or weeding out the bonsai pot. If you don't keep the water and fertilizer levels at each weeks random level for three days, the bonsai will die from malnutrition. Ensure that weeds never encroach on the bonsai's stem; otherwise, no matter how well you've been maintaining the bonsai, the weeds will ultimately kill it.
Purposeful Limited UI:
Just like in real life, there is no UI to help keep track of the water and fertilizer levels. This is an intentional design; you need to be aware of the bonsai yourself. You can keep track of any way you seem fit and use in-game clues to help you along the way.
Storytelling:
Enjoy a story based on reality between a grandfather, father, and grandchild as they work through the intricacies of life together. Over the span of four weeks, you will talk with both your father and son as the first chapter of A Father's Growth Spurt unravels.
