This is Wizard's Chess! Great thinking and relaxing game with fun elements of transforming pieces using their abilities. Easy to learn, many possible avenues of strategy, makes for a great game. I revisit it often.
Fun little "chess"-like game, but in my personal opinion WAY to repetitive in the "campaign", which I didn't even complete the first "world" in, because there are no new gameplay elements introduced really. Same units, same battlefields, different tilesets with varying amounts of "resource generation"...nothing more, nothing less. Play it online.
Actually a suprisingly good game. My stepfather bought it to me and I was like mah, whatever, but then I tried it and ended up completting the game. Defently worth a try.
Definitely an interesting chess-like tactics game.
A game
An absolute gem of a little game that I gladly came back to after many years (why I have so little time on Steam yet). It's a perfect case study of depth over width. It creates a huge number of possibilities and strategies out of very few game pieces and rules, where leads matter and yet there are nailbitingly close games and incredible turnarounds. The campaign mode perfectly carries this concept with some light narration, but leaving all the spotlight on the actual gameplay and increasingly harsh challenges (that you may want to revisit as there is a simple 3-star grading system for your results) and great map design. It's also the polar opposite of the grind time wasters many genres have developed into. Matches are short and yet almost every single one is memorable. Absolute 10/10 for the price and to get a lot of enjoyment out of little time.
Have to pass on this one. The simplicity is great at first, then it just becomes repetition. It never evolves and brings anything really new to the game. The maps don't get any more interesting, just a little larger. AI is very lacking too, rather than become more clever as you progress, it just cheats more or tries to overwhelm you with numbers. Even then, it's very easy to manipulate it.
Bu oyun strateji tabanlı ve satranç gibi oyunlar seven herkes için idealdir. Biraz tekrar olabileceğini ve bir süre sonra sıkıcı olabileceğini unutmayın.
An awesome turn based stretegy game that's quick to get started and then becomes more challenging. Really fun!!
The idea behind the game is fun but the AI gets ridiculous too quickly. After only a couple hours, the game ramps up the difficulty way too high and the AI seems to target you no matter what the situation is. After the first world you end up playing against two other teams, it's a free for all so the other AI teams could fight each other. The problem lies with AI focusing on you, even if it's to their own disadvantage, just making the game frustrating for the player. The first couple hours were really fun and a unique strategy game mixed with a board game but how quickly the difficulty ramps up for no reason makes the game just frustrating and not very fun. I stopped playing a couple levels into the second world because of it and at this point, can't recommend the game.
