While I enjoy these types of games and love supporting indie developers, this one falls short. It's overpriced for the amount of content you get – I finished it in 1.5 hours, and there's zero replayability. The puzzles lack challenge, especially for seasoned players. If you're new to the genre, you might find it enjoyable, but I recommend waiting for a sale. At €10, it simply isn’t worth it. There's no real story to get immersed in either. If you're expecting a deep narrative, this isn't the game for you. It feels more like a collection of mini-puzzles rather than a cohesive experience. Overall, I was left disappointed. If you're familiar with other detective or puzzle games like We Were Here, Operation: Tango, or Sherlock Holmes, I can't recommend this one.
Let me start by saying I respect indie devs, and I really appreciate that people put lots of effort into creating a fun experience for players! With that said, I'm gonna be critical of this game- especially because I haven't seen that in the other reviews. I think the game is overpriced for the length of the game. This took me 2.2 hours, and I've seen people with 1.5 hours completing this game. The story feels disjointed, like it isn't truly a mystery- rather its a series of disconnected puzzles with a diet story that guides you. The puzzles were fun! I did like them. Here's something that may be a deal-breaker for people and I cannot say for absolute fact but only from what I think. I believe a lot of art in this game is AI generated. If this is wrong, I'll gladly edit my review. It doesn't say this on the game page at all, but from seeing it I almost certainly believe its AI. I think I feel as if the story was too disconnected. Go here, do puzzle, comic. The puzzles were random and there was no real "investigating" Ultimately creating a game no matter what is hard work, especially for a small team of indie devs. I respect your work! I just wanted to give an honest feedback so that you guys can possibly take the criticism forward into your next projects!

short, simple puzzle-slop game that's barely coherent and contains an unfortunate amount of ai-generated art -- some of which you can see in several of the store page's screenshots. feels overall uninspired and rushed, especially with multiple bugs which hampered progress and apparently failed to unlock several achievements. 3/10 would not recommend
Really fun little puzzle game... If you like noir detectives, puzzles, and/or Amsterdam, you can't go wrong with this super funny indie puzzle gem. You play as a narcissistic detective putting together clues to solve a case (or perhaps even more than one...) The game is also hilariously upfront with the fact that it's a straightforward crime solver, by skipping over the details and dropping you straight into a bunch of great puzzles, which are sometimes challenging but never frustrating. Note: I played it on the Steam Deck, and while it's definitely playable, it would be better on a desktop or laptop as some of the puzzles have small parts that are more easily handled with a mouse.
this non-game says nothing on this page about the obvious AI usage. why is a guy playing a flute like a piano into an 8 ball? the AI disclosure needs to be added NOW. make art or get free stuff, not robotic sludge. NEVER buy anything form this thing.
so the first thing this game needs to do is take the investigation tag off, right now. this is a puzzle game. it's not a very hard one either: it's a puzzle game the same way IQ tests and standardized college/grad school exams are puzzles. hell, since it grades you on how many errors and hints you used over the game, it might as well be an IQ test. the puzzles are all, with the kindest words i can describe, bog-standard as bog-standard can be: basic ciphers, follow the trail, and so on. some of these "puzzles" aren't even puzzles: spot the difference? seriously? the first puzzle was easily the most creative, and, despite making zero sense in the context of the game's story, it's easily also the one that makes the most sense as to why it exists inside the game. it's very much a downward line of quality and difficulty from there. aside from that, the story is... what? every single detective story ever? if that works for you, then it's inoffensive. for me, it was a nothing burger. also the achievements for completing the game are bugged, which is hilarious. two main complaints: grading and the price. 1.I'm not a huge fan of grading in games: i'm just here to have fun, not get rated on my performance. I already get that enough in my real life, anyway. But I do understand why people like having it in games and enjoy it: in games like DmC, it's to incentivize the player to be better at the game and pull off more and more stylish combos in search of a higher score. DmC, Ultrakill, MGRevengeance, Hi Fi Rush, etc.: all of these games have very good reasons to have a grading system. ...Why does a puzzle game have a grading system? To incentivize replay? (Sorry devs, but no lol). It's a PUZZLE: once you solve it, that's it, you have the solution, and if you go back to solve it you instantly have the answer??? It's like cheating on a SAT question: you have the answer once you do it, and you're not going to improve substantially in anything if you immediately try the question again. There is ZERO incentive to replay this game. I'm not even speaking from a personal opinion: nothing changes if you do a rerun (I checked). So it's just a genuinely baffling mechanic to include. 2.Pricing. I finished this game in an HOUR. I, one of the dumbest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I know, finished this game in an HOUR with three hints used on the spot the difference puzzle because I ran out of patience. THIS GAME IS 10 USD OUT OF SALES, and 7 USD IN SALES. ??????????????? I don't know if it's naivety towards indie game pricing, or just genuine belief that your hour-long game is that good, but YOU DO NOT PRICE AN HOUR GAME WITH ZERO REPLAY VALUE FOR 10 DOLLARS. A cup of coffee price (i.e 2-5 USD)? Sure. 10 WHOLE DOLARES???? 7 OFF SALES??? I could buy two to three indie games with 10 dollars, and I definitely bet I could find indie games that have three times, if not more, the amount of gameplay this game has. In the end, it's the dev/publisher's decision to price this game as they did, but I would hesitate to recommend this game even for their sale price of 7 USD. TL;DR Not recommended until this game falls below 5 USD sale price, and honestly I'd recommend you go pick up a nice book of puzzles at a bookstore instead.
I am so sorry to be the party pooper here for the game having 92% positive reviews, but this game is not satisfying for me. Too short (1.5-2 hours of gameplay), too easy (definitely not for an experienced mystery-solver, more like for a starting point if you've never solved puzzles before). It seems the game doesn't want you to emerge into the actual lore and script, just solve kindergarten puzzles all the time. There is no investigation, no "open world", as stated in tags. The puzzles are all different, which is great, but they are not connected to each other in any way. It's not a detective investigation game, it's a compilation of puzzles. And I for some reason hoped for it to be not so casual. I ended up skipping all the dialogues and so called "cut scenes" in the end because there is no story put to this. And I personally don't recommend this game for someone who is looking for a challenge.
