A Curse From Beyond

A hidden gem. I played it alone late one rainy night and didn’t expect a little text-based game to be this immersive with all the well-adapted music and sound effects, while the concept and delicate story with multiple endings itself are already intriguing. Got me trembling a little at certain moments and also vibes a bizarre yet tender kind of warmth along the experience. And I love that. The illustration style is artistically rich as well. Thank you for your creation dev. I’m really glad I found this. Started looking forward to the sequel!

This was my first experience with a text based adventure game and shocked me with how much fun it was. The whole game was so well written and designed I got chills and nerves multiple times. I loved the music and animations too, really added to the atmosphere. Excellent game for Halloween season. Best played late at night, alone, in a dark room for maximum spook.

Overall I'd say it's pretty solid, definitely worth the cheap price. Its fairly short, complete-able in only an hour or two but the story and atmosphere make up for the length. There's some "gameplay" sequences but its mostly just a text adventure 7.8/10
