This game is GAS. It takes the player through a well-constructed narrative about a mysterious orb that is creative, suspenseful, and fun in it's delivery. I just finished playing through the main game (for Mac) and legit jumped out of my chair a couple times. Looking forward to exploring easter eggs and additional achievements. Unique in concept and well executed. I would definitely recommend checking out "a curse from beyond".
Started playing this game alone - ended with 3 people glued to the screen.
Overall I'd say it's pretty solid, definitely worth the cheap price. Its fairly short, complete-able in only an hour or two but the story and atmosphere make up for the length. There's some "gameplay" sequences but its mostly just a text adventure 7.8/10

This game is honestly impressive. It's more interesting than most text-based games that I've played. It took me about an hour to get everything I wanted done but I bet you could spend another hour or two to get everything. Definitely recommend.
Cute, but a little expensive for what it is. Grab it on sale since it's only rlly worth 30 mins
GOOD GAME BUY IT YOU IDIOTS
Good game. Admittedly, it's quite brief and linear, but there are multiple ways to complete it and there is even a secret upgrade. I wouldn't have minded a bit more in terms of exploration or a more drawn out, progressive fall to corruption, or chances to fail.
For example, while going to your "regular spot", instead of giving clues to where she desires to go until it is found, allow the her to get angry and cause the player to fail, leading to a side journey to find her or failing to catch up to the thief in time.
In addition, I loved the breaks where the normal gameplay was interrupted by something totally different; this element enhanced each respective juncture in which it was used, be it the forest, the cave, or the dream. It's not a paradigm-defining game, but there are many instances of great creativity and genuinely capable use of atmosphere and effects. It has an excellent foundation for further development, if the author still wants to work on a potential sequel or a similar project. It's inexpensive; if you want 30 to 60 minutes of something like a snapshot of an early sapiens' life, twisted and primal, delivered through an unconventional means, I suggest it. It's a lovely story that has grasped my heart for an evening, and I'm sure many would feel the same.
VERY cool game. Really fun how it plays with the medium and aesthetics. Would love to see these ideas expanded into an even longer project!
Basically a short interactive fiction game that is strongly inspired by A Colour Out of Space, I imagine.
gud game
