About
A Color Theory is a game where Color determines what anything and everything does: from simple platformer-style movement, to destructible hazards to gravity-flipping capability: nothing is immune to being changed by the power of Colors!

It's amazing how much the game has expanded since the demo, I love how complex some of these puzzles became! There's still so much left I want to experiment with... and a whole lot more to find than that 100% completion marker would suggest. I'm not gonna spoil anything, but if anyone's seeing this game, it's more than worth the price! (Progress saves between the demo and the main game, so if you're on the fence, you can give that a try and decide on the full game later. Don't be afraid to give it a shot!)
Clever games curator review: 7/10. Answers the question, “what if Baba is You was a 2D platformer, and used color instead of code blocks for all of its rules (although much to the same effect?)” Unlike almost every single platformer I’ve ever played, the color determines the role of every single component in this game, not the sprites used. This is a neat idea that feels a bit like a gimmick early on, but quickly turns into an extensive set of role‑swaps as you change one color for another much like you push around the code blocks in Baba is You to change behaviors (including the win condition). Since it’s just colors it’s not quite as expressive as Baba is You, but it feels similarly fresh and at least at first is quite compelling. But wait, the parallels don’t end there. Much like Baba is You, once the novelty wears off the actual game quality starts to suffer a bit. In particular I felt like the combinatorics got quite large around 45 minutes. This meant that instead of being able to logic out the solution it quickly became something that I needed to just experiment with / brute force. Perhaps if the game had tried to stay simpler it would have been too easy or repetitive, but I would have been interested in seeing *that* game. Presentation is fairly dull; simplistic much like Baba is You but without as much charm. Some of this is probably necessary because of how important colors are and how unimportant form is. Unlike the gameplay, I don’t think this really held it back although it was an opportunity lost in terms of making the game more enjoyable with a better presentation. In the end I think this is a very interesting effort, and worth playing if only for the first 45 minutes of levels. Perhaps you will enjoy it more than I and want to finish it. But much like Baba is You, I’m moving on rather than being a completionist. It was an interesting experience and worth having even if I might wish for a better ending.

If you like puzzle platormers this is absolutely your game. This game is a labor of love that plays so smoothly and I find that the new take on how the player plays models and the movement schemes of the color. The level design if very creative and makes use of the colors and shapes to make a very entertaining yet challengeing experience. Overall if you want a good fun time playing puzzle platformers I'd definitely recomend.
Great puzzle game with extremely creative level design. Reminds me of Baba is you. Super worth the money
Tight design, well balanced difficulty curve, fun mechanics, satisfying solutions, SECRETS. Everything an excellent puzzle game needs.
Pretty fun game so far!
Colormatic!
Really fun game! Simple mechanic evolves very nicely. I really liked the light-blue and green powers especially. I also think the bucket is a really nice, natural addition to the established mechanics, though I'd suggest having the keybind not be right next to the reset button (or having the option to rebind keys). Overall, really fun little puzzle game!
Pretty good game reminds me of hue, but pls up the saturation/brightness on your brown more it's hard to see on the black background!
Awesome! Full game is much more fun and interesting than the demo :D
