This game is a masterful blend of excitement and strategy, set in a world teeming with ancient creatures. Each session feels like a new adventure, where my choices truly matter in the battle for survival. The game's minimalist approach to gameplay is refreshing, and the Roguelite elements add an exciting layer of unpredictability. As I navigate through this prehistoric world, I am constantly challenged by diverse species of extinct animals, each encounter more exhilarating than the last. What stands out the most is the pace of the game. It's fast, requiring quick thinking and even quicker reflexes. This isn't just another survival game; it's a test of how well you can adapt and strategize in a constantly changing environment. Dino Survivors is not just a game; it's an experience. An experience where you're pitted against the past, fighting not just for survival but to become the ultimate survivor. Fun 10/10. Art Style 10/10. Levels 7/7. Playability 10/10. Characters 12/12 Bugs/Glitches - Didn't find any. Would recommend, great for the price that it is. This game offers about 10 hours of gameplay to complete it. Very good balance of difficulty from the start to the end. If you find it easy you can rush through levels where it will get much harder, and for the opposite just buy some "improvements" with your coins found ingame to have an easier time. Each level is up to 13 minutes of gameplay, there are bosses and mini-bosses along with hordes of relentless dinosaurs. Attacking utilises an automated aim rather than you doing it yourself, leaving you to focus on surviving and having fun.
Dino Survivors is a great little VS-clone. It nails most of the stuff that made the original VS great. It offers a decent amount of stuff to unlock and getting stronger and better after every run is as motivating and addictive as ever. It doesn't bring anything new to the table, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it knows how to use what's there in an engaging way. The prehistoric setting fits and looks great. All in all Dino Survivors is imo an easy recommendation for fans of the genre.
Fun little VS type game that misses the mark on a lot of fronts. Worth it for the low price, but this is a C-tier VS type at best. The thing it misses entirely is the ability to create an overpowered build, the most fun part of any of these games. Throw the balance out the window! Damage is so low and incredibly hard to scale, and rounds only last 10 minutes before the boss shows up, meaning just as you start putting a fun build together the game ends. So close to being a good game, and hopefully in time it will improve. Still worth it for the price though.
Developer released the game, knew there was a huge following and then abandoned it as soon as it was released to EA. Tons of players have been trying to get him to fix bugs and things that make the game unplayable. He never once responded or fixed anything. To me that is called fraud.
nettes Survivor Game für wenig Geld
PRO - quick 10 minutes runs / enjoyable gameplay for the genre NEUTRAL - not so deep compared to others / very cheap friendly price CONS - never improved after EA
Fun simple game. Some of the achievements though...
I do like this game, its a very chilled game which i enjoy but I also like the Survivors aspect to it as I really enjoy those types of games! One little nitpick though as with quite a few of these games is the starter weapon, the club, never was a fan of directional weapons and this is no exception.
