almost good. and with almost I mean pretty close. and with pretty close I mean basicilly 100% good. long story short. is good
A pretty and relaxing game with a cozy aesthetic that hides some devious (but optional!) platforming challenges. Once you begin grasping the more nuanced details of your movement options, you unlock an imaginative playground that feels rewarding to traverse. Great for 3D platformer lovers, also great for everyone else.
Very fun and cozy experience. Can only recommend
Light platformer where a robot expands a minimal blocky world by smashing bottles to reveal islands, but lack of direction doesn’t make it so appealing. There’s no real story in this game. You play as a robot sailing through the skies in a flying ship. One day, while fishing, he pulls up a strange bottle. When he smashes it open, a new floating island appears nearby, containing another bottle, and the cycle continues. That’s the core appeal: each bottle expands the world, and you never know what the next island will bring. Visually, though, it’s pretty minimal with mostly blocky terrain at different elevations that create platforming challenges. There are unique elements, but they’re reserved for more important islands. Falling into the clouds isn’t a big deal either, since you instantly respawn on the nearest flat surface. Controls are simple. Besides movement, you can jump, dive, and perform a smash attack. The dive extends your jump distance between islands, but it works best when combined with the smash, which gives you a small height boost and lets you regain control. If you dive on its own, the robot just faceplants. You can also use the smash at the peak of a jump to barely reach higher ledges, just enough for the robot to climb up if you hit the edge. Speed matters, too; you can launch yourself farther by rolling down a slope and jumping right at the end. Each island is essentially a small platforming puzzle that rewards you with the next bottle. Some are straightforward, others add mechanics like bouncy fruits, moving platforms, or growing mushrooms. Occasionally, bottles won’t activate until you collect nearby shards. Since the world expands in all directions, you might need to revisit earlier areas once higher islands appear. New islands also unlock stationary rope crossbows that create shortcuts. There’s no map, which makes it hard to track all the bottles you’ve smashed and islands you’ve explored. The game isn’t strictly linear, you often have several paths to choose from, but some islands are just side challenges with collectibles (pinwheels) instead of bottles. Unfortunately, with no way to mark completed islands, tracking down everything becomes frustrating. One drawback is the day-night cycle. At night, everything gets too dark, making collectibles nearly impossible to spot. The upside is that falling stars appear, which serve as currency for cosmetic upgrades like hats and scarves for your robot, but these don’t add anything to the gameplay. The achievements aren’t enjoyable to pursue due to the lack of collectible tracking and the demanding speedrun requirements, which expect you to reach key fragments within strict time limits. As a result, you’ll need to replay the game multiple times to earn them all, but the experience isn’t compelling enough to justify that level of effort.
Lovely 3D platformer. such fun movement options, the world is a joy to traverse with just enough challenge to keep the flow of the game perfect, not to mention the pinwheels, some of them are quite tricky to get to. what i like the most about this game besides the gameplay is the atmosphere, the art style combined with the music works beautifully.
Really fun 3D platformer with a super simple concept: Every collectible unlocks more island chunks to explore, so the world is constantly expanding and becoming more interconnected as you play. The movement is momentum-based, with an Odyssey-like dive and spin, and I can already tell that it will be ripe for speedrunning once the full world is unlocked. Good game, well worth the price!
Cozy and
Very laid-back platformer where you can jump around and explore at your own place. The game really shines once you can start taking advantage of slopes and see how far you can jump when you've built up momentum. It's super satisfying. I appreciate how forgiving it is with its little ledge hops. There's definitely some challenging sections but they're optional and you can always opt for a more any% experience.
awesome speed platformer with heavy emphasis on momentum. i spent a lot of time trying to get all the hidden pinwheels, but after that i just boot it up every once in awhile trying to find new skips and tightening my playthrough performance. lot of attention to level design with just enough going on that you can maybe find an exploit here and there. you definitely get a lot out of it if you put more in. i'm not usually huge on challenge platformers but this one's easy to spend a lot of time in if you're just trying to speedrun a roller coaster experience as fast as possible. but with your first few playthroughs i recommend having multiplayer on and exploring for pinwheels. also, i played using the cat language. :3 nyaa. current pb is something like 14:57.
Cozy platformer with fun movement mechanics.
