About

"8AM" plunges the player into an enigmatic and tense game of observation and decision under an unfathomable veil of mystery. In this game, you find yourself in a stark room, devoid of any memory or knowledge of your purpose or how you arrived there. The only companions in your solitary vigil are a set of devices and a computer, your window to the outside world, connecting you exclusively to the security camera system of a seemingly ordinary house.
The house is inhabited by a family whose life appears to proceed normally until the clock strikes midnight. From that moment, as the hours slip towards dawn, you become a witness to a series of events that could be classified as ordinary or deeply disturbing. The nature of these occurrences varies widely, from ghostly figures slipping through the corridors in the darkness, manifestations of paranormal activity that defy all logic, to the strange behaviors of the family members, like sleepwalking, which could hide something more sinister.
Your task is simple yet immensely complicated: to determine whether what you are witnessing is a manifestation of the supernatural or mere coincidences and everyday events interpreted through a prism of isolation and tension. There are no clear answers, nor are you provided with tools to investigate or influence events. Your judgment is your only guide in this dark task.
Every correct decision you make brings you one step closer to your final goal: reaching 8:00 a.m. and, with it, your liberation. But what does "correct" truly mean in a world where reality intertwines with the incomprehensible? There are no truths to unravel, only the growing anxiety that each choice could be as right as it is wrong.
"8AM" is a challenge to perception, a game that forces you to question reality and face the uncertainty of the night. With each passing night and every decision you make, you not only draw closer to liberation but also delve deeper into the mystery of the human condition and the nature of reality itself. This game not only challenges you to observe but also to reflect on what it means to be a spectator of the lives of others, isolated yet intimately linked to their fate.

8AM — простой атмосферный хоррор. Начинаешь с 00:00 и ищешь аномалии, ошибся начинаешь заново, ничего особенного в этой игре нету. Для одного прохождения сойдет.
There's no context, no explination whats going on or what you're supposed to do. Just a bunch empty rooms on cctv. And why is this game 6GB in size? its just 16 low quality rooms that you view over and over?
I don't tecommend this as a paid game. Somehow, I only spent 10 minutes to beat it, where I got "8 AM" achievement. There's no actual horror or suspense. The jumpscares usually happen after you answer "Yes" or "No," which is completely out of place.

I am actually so not happy with this game. Thought I’d be having a chill evening but ended up clicking yes and no for a hour trying to find all anomalies.
The game itself is just look and guess. It has a jump scare feature which just makes the game worse in my opinion by randomly putting a “scarry” person in the room where you say yes or no. Next to that is that the audio is bad whereby you can even hear when it loops because it just gives a loud tick sound. And the thing that really makes this game bad is to get all 3 achievements you need to find all the 163 anomalies which aren’t that hard to get just constantly press yes past 0:00AM and you will get it, but why must it be so many for such a short game. I would not recommend buying this game unless it’s free!
Short, spooky game with only one pain in the ass achievement. Works like The Exit 8 with the whole "finding what's wrong" mechanic, but it's not as engaging.
Extremely poor attempt at an anomaly-style horror game.
Achei mó paia, entrei com os shorts limpos e saí TODO sujo de merda, 10/10😎😎😎😝😝
Probably shouldn't deserve a thumbs up but only giving it for working properly and delivering what it states to be. Should be a free game or <1 eur. Basically the only thing you do is check if there is an anomaly 8 times and then the game is over. And it's not like there are creative anomalies, it just feels like someone generated some random images of people staring into walls etc, very uninspirational. However i guess this is basically the concept of the game so i should have expected that. The jumpscares are also the worst, part of the thumbs up is the ability to turn them off. There is no storyline whatsoever. You just open the camera, answer "yes or no" and leave the game and never touch it again after about 15 min. or about an hour if you want the 100%. Achievements work properly without bugs or missables so that's a plus. Also the room in which you 'operate' looks better compared to the camera footage youre actually investigating. All in all a very measly sufficient "i dont know what else i was expecting" game but at least it works properly. If youre into anomaly spotting clickers you might like it. If youre not (like me) dont bother at all.
