Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
"8AM: The Swimming Pool" plunges the player into a tense and enigmatic experience of observation and judgment, set beneath the dim lights of an empty public pool. The night has fallen, and the facility is about to close. Only a few late swimmers remain — tired, silent, and seemingly ordinary.
You are stationed in the control room, surrounded by flickering monitors, hearing the distant echo of water and the hum of fluorescent lights. You don’t know why you are there, nor who asked you to watch. Your only task: observe. Yet, as the clock approaches midnight, the calm surface of the pool begins to conceal something far less tranquil.
From that moment, the surveillance feed begins to reveal strange anomalies — shadows moving where no one should be, reflections that don’t match their owners, and swimmers whose gestures grow more erratic as the hours pass. Are they just exhausted? Or is something beneath the water pulling them closer to madness?
Your mission is deceptively simple: decide what is real. Each scene, each fragment of footage, forces you to question whether you’re witnessing coincidence, paranoia, or something that defies explanation. You cannot intervene — only judge. The truth remains submerged, and your perception is your only instrument.
Every decision brings you closer to dawn — and to understanding your role in this silent vigil. But as 8:00 a.m. approaches, you begin to wonder: are you observing the swimmers… or are they, somehow, observing you?
"8AM: The Swimming Pool" is a psychological mystery about isolation, perception, and the thin boundary between reason and fear. Through the still water and the sleepless night, it invites you to confront not only what lies beneath the surface, but also the unease of seeing — and being seen.

Some anomaly games are really enjoyable, but this one was slapped together very hastily and it shows. First of all, it is too difficult to clearly see what is on the screen due to the VHS special effects. Even more bothersome though is the living people continue to do the same thing the entire time. There is a guy standing at a urinal in the bathroom for eight hours. Come on, developers, you can do much better than that. Sheer laziness and lack of immersive realism. This game shouldn't cost more than $2. It was thrown together sloppily to make money when it needed a little more time spent on it to ensure it would be more enjoyable and worthy of purchase.
I know these are on sale but charging $5 for these games is kinda wild. Even with 100 anomalies to find, the single map does not lend itself to be replayed, so beating the game in 10mins does NOT feel worth the price. I encourage the dev to scale back the number of anomalies, and increase the number of maps per release. Right now it just seems like a cash grab with the amount of these games being released.

Super super cool game!! There's obviously a lot of work done on the game, simply due to the fact that there is 100 things that could be wrong (literally). Very reminiscent of games like Exit 8, or Shinkansen 0. Overall i really enjoyed it, played it for Youtube as well!! https://youtu.be/gggTIITcIs4
If you enjoy short psychological horror experiences that focus on tension, observation, and atmosphere rather than jump scares, 8AM: The Swimming Pool is absolutely worth your time. A great example of how less can be more in horror games.
Beat the game once, saw there was 140+ abnormalities and gave up on 100% achievements lol
easiest anomaly game, made me feel smart like the other kids
first things first, yes, there are other games out there that do this genre in a more polished way... that being said though, I liked what this is, and even more, the potential it has to contend with other titles like platform 8 and observation duty! I highly recommend to the developer that they animate the anomalies and make them more interactive! Allow the players to be puzzled by the anomalies and their behaviours, instead of just stare at them and say "yes, something was wrong"... Also, the jump scares are a bit wasted but they're a neat treat and I appreciated being able to turn them on / off as I wished... thank you for adding that! some of the set ups were predictable or avoidable all together and that took away from the scare factor, but I'm sure that can be patched out. Over all, a great first effort and I hope the dev adds more content, that's engaging and scary! Keep it up!
I enjoyed this game and can not wait for more to be released. I will definitely be recommending this game to others.
I was really looking forward to this release!!! I’m having an amazing time playing it, and I still have a lot left to unlock… This is the kind of game where I can spend hours and hours playing, paying attention to every single detail!
Another 8AM Game!!! love it!!
