7 Days to End with You

this game is such a unique concept and i played it all in one sitting. The different aspects about finding words, being wrong, then trying again is so new to me and I will definitely be playing the game again for the different endings.

Refunding the game because of 2 major flaws that drag the game from an B+ to a D- at best First of all, what kind of game has a "vibration" setting, but no full screen, which for any other game would be fine, but due to the pixel art style, shrinking the window down to be close to full screen makes some pixels larger or smaller, which not only looks bad, but in a game where being able to tell the difference between different symbols is important is kind of really frustrating, but I was still willing to overlook it because I really wanted to see what the game had to offer, and by itself isn't actually that big of a deal. What really pissed me off was my second point. There is nothing I hate more in games than time limits and being forced to progress faster than I'd like to, which this game does in a very jarring way, where seemingly after an hour, the game just forces you to progress to the next day with absolutely no warning or even a way to wrap up anything you're doing, which in this kind of game based around taking the time to figure things out so you can actually understand what the ♥♥♥♥ is happening is infuriating. I bought this game after a friend recommended it to me because of how much I loved Chants Of Sennar, and I was really excited to see another game based around language learning as a main mechanic, but forcing the player to move forwards in a PUZZLE GAME makes the game borderline unplayable in my opinion. Given the release date, I doubt either of these will ever get fixed, but if even the forced progression gets removed or remedied in some way, I'd love to know, because until I was forced to progress, the game was actually pretty fun, and it's so unfortunate that just one really ♥♥♥♥ decision makes it unbearable.
