Suika games are played with a box and some balls. Whatever type of box, whatever the balls represent, doesn't matter really. You've got small balls, big balls, and everything in between. Many balls. One by one, you drop your balls into the box, and when balls of the same size are touching, something magical happens. They merge into one bigger ball. All you need to do is make sure you keep touching the right balls without letting the box overflow. That's when you lose. Pretty simple, but since you have no control over the size of your balls, it gets tricky trying to keep your big balls together without getting ball blocked by random smaller ones. You have to drop all of your balls, too. There is no skipping any, so ball placement is key. It can get hard, but on my first attempt, I managed to keep it up for about half an hour before my balls were overflowing. Not bad for a beginner, I suppose. Standard Suika gama that doesn’t come with any new features. The goal of the game is to collect points by merging cats. Because cats wear fruit costumes, you might as well drop fruit like in the traditional suika game. Cats vary in size, and when two of the same type touch, you create a new bigger type. Creating bigger cats is critical because it is the only way to get them. The reason for this is that you can only drop smaller cats from above. Cats can be dropped into the box until they reach the top line that means "game over". There is no actual objective or purpose, only points. There are three modes. Classic mode, in which you can help avoid the game ending prematurely by using a bath to remove a specific cat or a shaker to shake the box, "No help" mode, which disables the helpful powers, and quick mode, in which cats descend gradually faster.

O diferencial daqui em relação aos outros jogos do estilo Suika que joguei (que não foram muitos) é que ele tem duas funcionalidades a mais: balançar a caixa e tirar um gato/fruta. Essas ações extras permitem estender a jogatina e criar novas estratégias ao utilizá-las no momento certo. É uma boa recomendação para quando você quiser jogar algo rapidinho para passar o tempo.

Cool themed suika game, nice music, gameplay is neat and overall great chill experience. One the bad side, the game has performance issues when played in fullscreen on ultrawide monitor. I intended to play it in windowed mode, so it didn't affect me (the problem vanishes when the game is not in fullscreen, my monitor has 2550x1080 resolution).

Very cute and fun, CatMelon is a game inspired by Suika. The physics work very well, the controls respond equally well and the game is very fun, especially with the functions of shaking the box and bathing (taking a kitten out of the box). It is very pleasant to see the kittens mixing and sometimes you can have good surprises with a movement that you did not have many expectations for =]
