This is a Lovecraftian-inspired tale of a man writing the horrors of the one night he visited his great uncle's mansion to remember what actually happened at 3 am during the visit.

Infuriation
Yes horror puzzle, sure, psychological horror? Lovecraftian? Blasphemous. This has one of the greatest startups I've ever seen in a game. Like the walk up with the tutorial, leading up to the door which allows you to pick from your options and then start the game. That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. That's a good start up. The writing is pretty fun. But this game has some pretty bad movement, and a series of bad mechanics for the passage of time, and the usage of sanity. It's not all bad though. It's just very rough, and very unforgiving, for a game that doesn't deserve to be.
TL;DR

[th]Pros[/th] [th]Cons[/th]

Sanity is tracked through your inventory menu. Without numbers, increasing the immersion. As your sanity drops through (soft deaths) and interactions with monsters, your character writes their sanity. Sanity is unforgiving, with no obvious way of recover from it. Shaking is awful, and that's the first noticeable thing. Then loud laughing, and visuals, then you die shortly after that. It also sucks, because your sanity also seems to go down with time anyway. Dark areas becoming just death zones. And the framework of the game being about puzzles, means that at a certain time frame you just can't beat the game.

Although you don't have a watch, or a fairy telling you what you need to do next. Our character updates the player on what time it is, clocks do pass time, and finding puzzles will be followed up by the character giving you hints on how they "ended up solving the puzzle". Time is just a killing factor, after a certain amount of time it just seems like you die. I'm not even sure how you're supposed to get multiple endings, without doing a speedrun to the end. And there are no save points. Meaning if you die. Or waste too much time, you have to restart. They do give you a "Majora's Mask" style rewind, but there is no point to using it, as you end up losing most of your sanity to do it, meaning 1 wrong move, and you just lose.

The art is great, but the "psychological" part is like being hit by a club. And it's as Lovecraftian as Castlevania. It's got pretty good sound cues, and can be quite forgiving with the AI. The movement system is buggy and ill defined. One of the main mechanics in the game involves a spell book that the game doesn't have your character, who mind you, takes notes about everything, take notes about the symbols you need to cast the spells. That provides some ludo narrative dissonance breaking the immersion. Then to top it off, the spells involve writing super complicated symbols, that you essentially have to screen cap or write down yourself, just so you can remember them. And because these symbols are in the dark, and your field of view is small, you have to walk around and diligently take either multiple screen caps or moving and writing and moving and writing OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

It needs work.

Very good game would definitely recommend for any body into a game made with a good story, plot and character design. FOR THE GAME DEVELOPERS, PLEASE GET MORE TRACTION USING ONLINE MARKETING THIS GAME COULD BLOW UP WITH TRACTION IF ONLINE MARKETING IS USED CORRECTLY. MY SUGGESTION IS USING BETA TESTERS AND TAKING THEIR OPINIONS AND FEEDBACK AND REACHING OUT TO PEOPLE SUCH AS YOUTUBER AND OTHERS. VERY GOOD GAME WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT WITH MORE PEOPLE PLAYING IT ALSO A YOUTUBER I SUGGEST TO REACH OUT TO IS 8-BITRYAN AS HE HAS A LOT OF HORROR GAMES AND SUCH CONTENT AND WOULD PROBABLY LOVE YOUR GAME. SO YEAH THATS MY REVIEW AND I HOPE THIS GAME GETS THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES.
So, it's not that this is *bad*, it's just not *good*. The horror effects are not scary, the story seems like it could be interesting, but actually getting parts of it is more frustrating than fun and ended up being just a little too boring.
Ich hab zu wenig IQ für das Game
bro this game is like so complicated I literally had no idea what tf what happening??? Like the puzzle aspect of it actually just takes away from the horror :( game was glitched too do not play DO NOT PLAY !!!!!
Short nice spooky game, not much in the aspect of horror but still keeps you on your toes, the puzzles are challenging and you must think quick since you're on a race against the clock. 8.1/10
I couldn't figure out how to get past the tutorial and gave up.
