2MD: VR Football Classic

so worth it i truly cant explain it. anyone who downvoted this probably got sacked by their uncle

i love the game even tho i havent played it alot its still fun

This was one of the first VR games I ever bought, and to this day still no regrets. This is a perfect arcade-style, 2-minute drill football game. You basically jump right in and have 2 minutes to score a touchdown. If you go 4 and out, you reset to where you began on the field and lose a little bit of time. If you score a touchdown, you move on to a tougher opponent! The throwing mechanics are a bit hard to get used to and there are times where you think you're about to make a perfect throw, and then the ball just falls to the ground in front of you. I still don't know if that's because I don't understand the mechanics, or if it was my throwing settings or my computer's performance. I digress, I love a good challenge! Once you get the hang of the game, you'll kind of be forced to create your own plays to try and beat some of the middle to top tier teams, and the creativity and freedom of creating plays is the key difference between this being a decent game and a great one. Oh and there's a newer version out, it's a much more polished version of that game and the throwing mechanics are 100% better!

First of All, this is probably my favorite game on steam and VR do to the fact that I love football. And Truant Pixel did an awesome job on the game. It’s a bit laggy, but that’s because I stream it from virtual desktop. The throwing motions can be a bit confusing at first but you’ll get used to them. I also love the creativity of the stadiums. The Rockets one especially. One of the teams, the skins, is basically Michigan and you’ll feel like your playing in a college football game on a Saturday morning. Overall, I would recommended this hame to anyone who loves football and is wanting to feel the glory of winning a football game.

Holy crap this is fun. Great replay value, you can even make your own plays. The throwing mechanics take some getting used to but there is a practice mode so you'll be okay once you get the controls. Would be nice if they had a stiff arm move for running plays.

This is a pretty rudimentary game but it is alot of fun. You can play with a group and see who passes for the highest score. Its alot of fun coming up with your own plays and you will notice that if you find a good play that is working over and over a few times that the AI adjusts for it. The passing works really well with my Index knuckles because i can fully release my fingers when i throw with the controller flying out of my hand. I highly recommend this game.

Great game, has a promising future. I Would like to see things like my Receivers jumping to catch the ball, and maybe the ability to be able to hand the ball off to a back, but other than that, i have no real issues with it.

2MD Football Classic ist ein toller QB-Simulator für alle die ein wenig für Football übrig haben und dabei ein spaßiges statt realistisches Spielgefühl zu schätzen wissen. Zunächst habe ich dieses Spiel als ein nettes Gimmick für zwischendurch verstanden, das mich nicht besonders lange am Stück fesseln kann, doch nach einiger Zeit hatte ich immer mehr Spaß daran an meinen Spielzügen zu feilen, meine Treffsicherheit zu verbessern und die Verteidigung des Gegners lesen zu lernen, bis ich endlich alle 7 Matches gewinnen werde. Dabei kommt dem Spiel seine kurze Matchlänge zugute, es überzeugte mich aber auch das Core-Gameplay. Die Würfe kommen mit etwas Übung präzise an, Laufspiel ist grundsätzlich möglich und auch sinnvoll und das eigene Team arbeitet i.d.R. sinnvoll mit. Das Spiel bietet Einstellungsmöglichkeiten wie die Wurfkraft und einen Übungsmodus, der mir zu Beginn bei der Treffsicherheit und dem Ballgefühl an sich sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann 2MD definitiv empfehlen als das beste VR-only Sportspiel, das ich bisher gespielt habe!

I've had a few VR headsets now, and by far this is the game that I come back to the most. It's short, strategic, simple, yet compelling. VR games often fall into this arcadey vibe, but I love that this two-minute drill football simulation is both twitchy and strategic. At higher levels it for sure gets harder, though it doesn't turn completely impossible. Being able to draw up (or tweak!) plays doesn't sound like a big deal on the back of the box, but man it provides a huge amount of depth and replay value. Love it, strong recommend.
