Replay-Value wäre also also vemutlich durchaus gegeben.
It looks a lot like "Papers Please". Graphics are old-school, its a very good idea, but all it can do is frustrate you to the point that it became a non-game. In the begining, things are intuitive and it really looks like you are going to somewhere. After about a week or so, it starts forcing you into a situation where you lose over and over. After 4 frustrating retries, it became so boring I have to unninstal and never play it again.

as a concept and a message, the game is good it tries to shine light on the life of refugees and the troubles they face but as a videogame, it fails horribly i am given to understand that the main objective of a videogame is to provide the player with fun this game didn't provide a single tidbit of fun for me the project would have been way more fruitful if it was a movie, but as a videogame, it really didn't work out
This is an interesting little game that touches on the hot topic of immigration/refugees, but unfortunately just falls a bit flat. You play as a cheerful refugee that works to send money to his wife and child who are also trying to join you in Germany. First of all, the game is boring. You just go to work over and over and occasionally eat or go to school. Other games have managed to build tedium or frustration into the gameplay for good effect and still keep it engaging (e.g. Papers Please) - but this game just doesn't HAVE gameplay. For example, when you work you just hear a tune play and then you get paid. You may be notified that you were docked money for making a mistake (e.g. due to low skills or health) which is supposed to show the difficulties that immigrants face. It would have been much better if working was an actual minigame which became more difficult due to the unique challenges you face. E.g. serving customers could be a short dialogue minigame and words may be missing if your language skills are low. This would help the player to experience frustration along with the character rather than just be notified about it. Various characters in the game have short stories that slowly unravel each time you talk to them. There's no dialogue options or ways of particularly engaging or helping anyone - you just get 4-5 lines of poorly spelt text to read each time. I liked that you saw some of the hardships of being a refugee (e.g. racism) but also the flipside - refugees misbehaving and eliciting hostility from the locals. Unfortunately nothing ever really gets developed enough to feel emotional. Lastly, there are no real choices to make. You just go to work over and over to make money. I was frustrated that things got so tight towards the end of the game that it basically forces you to take some unethical jobs to make ends meet. Though, maybe that's part of the commentary.
To niezupełnie prawda.
I don't normally play management type of games, but every time I do, they are usually deep and engaging such as 'This War of Mines'. This game is no exception. I enjoyed the refugee take on the game even though it just scratches the surface of the real struggle of refugees. I like the idea of building relationships with people around you. When doing so, often grants more opportunities in the future and the sacrifice is time (and cash for travel). Even though the game didn't have too many moral choices, there was still a balancing act in managing money. This game is affordable and engaging. It certainly is worth trying out.
Interesting premise, not that great of a game.
