Hilariously difficult, troll-like, level-based 2D platformer with great optimization and speedrun potential. If you liked the way the devs of La-Mulana hated you, this game serves up even more of it.

i do not recomend because this game has sucky controlls and its lay outs are confusing, its repetitive and the game idea isnt good

1001 Spikes is a very challenging platformer that will push you to your limit, but still feels fair most of the time. It has a clean graphics and a very nice retro soundtrack, and the gameplay scales appropriately as you progress. I wouldn't necessarily spend $15 on it, but if there's a sale, I would highly recommend (if you like platformers). I appreciate the fact that, despite the apparent retro style of the game, modern QoL features like key rebinding are still available. Final Verdict: 8/10 [Good]

Look, if your after an unfair simple platformer with 8bit graphics, this could be for you. It's not for me tho and I don't think Most people would like it.

不是一個差勁的遊戲，但身為被現代遊戲養刁的玩家來說，實在沒有好玩的感覺，比起困難更偏向無聊。玩這的時間不如去玩別的遊戲。 喜歡一格一動的玩家，或是追求懷舊平台跳躍的玩家應該會喜歡。特價入手內容量是值得的。 關卡設計要求玩家背板，遊戲指示物不明確也不統一，同個造型的陷阱石塊可能有完全不一樣的觸發機制。不支援預輸入。 遊戲主題是用1001條生命去闖關，但關卡邏輯旨在用不公平的設計去消耗掉這1001條生命。玩起來可能更像沒那麼惡搞但有重試上限的貓利歐。

A solid retro platformer if you're into really difficult platformers. Doesn't do anything special by current standards, but it's polished and each level makes good use of the various mechanics and traps that get introduced over time. While the game is really tough and there are a lot of traps, it's basically never unfair as there are hints for what spots are safe. If you're into tough platformers I'd say it's worth picking up, especially on sale.
