[H1]Another entry that feels rushed, trimmed, and sold anyway[/H1] Here we go again. This 100 Cozy Games title is a [i]single[/i] ruin scene where you have to find the 100 kitties, as usual, except a good chunk of them barely look like cats at all. Tails, vague shapes, suspicious blobs. At this point it feels less like “hidden cats” and more like an abstract art exercise where you politely nod and pretend you see something worth your attention. The tools are solid though, I'll give them that: the zoom is genuinely excellent, letting you go from full-picture view down to extreme close-up, and the hint system is fast, infinite, and painless to use (but a bit useless with the difficulty level). There’s even a color mode that adds a tiny bit of challenge, plus fitting music and no disappearing guide lines or bugs this time, which is at least an improvement over some earlier entries. The problem is everything around that. There’s only one level, it’s over in about 8 minutes, and [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/housecatog/recommended/3789580/]a second random level[/url] that used to exist was removed (at least I didn't see it anywhere). Despite that, the price stayed exactly the same, and it’s honestly shocking given how little there is to do. Add the usual 100-achievement clutter and cats that blend so hard into the background they stop reading as animals altogether, and the whole thing starts to feel cynical. Keeping the price of a fuller game while cutting content and pushing barely-cat shapes is not a great look, and it’s hard to recommend unless you’re collecting these out of stubborn loyalty. I used to love 100 Cozy Games, but now I'm ashamed of that. I still have 100 Tchernobyl Cats to review, but this is probably the end of the line for me here. No way can I continue to encourage such practices. It is not a game where you need to overthink or solve complicated challenges; instead, you can simply enjoy searching for the hidden cats and decompress after a long day. Some cats are cleverly hidden, making the discovery process enjoyable, while the hint system is there to help whenever you cannot find one. The artwork and music fits together nicely and create a cozy atmosphere. Overall, it is a charming and calming game that offers a pleasant way to relax. I have nine cats, and they were all wondering what was going on during the roughly 20 minutes it took to complete a single level, even with a 10% discount. The complete bundle is $45 (Canadian), so if you calculate roughly 20 minutes per 22 "levels" purchased separately, that's a "complete" game finished in 8 hours!!! For that price, it's highway robbery, because for $50 you can play a game for over a week not near a day.

The real treasure is the cats you find along the way. 3/10
