[H1]Meow-sic to my ears, but gone in a whisker.[/H1] Here we are again with another 100 Cozy Games release (at this point, I’m half-convinced the regulars deserve a loyalty card or sponsorship deal XD). 100 Cyprus Cats isn't anything new, but it’s a solid addition to the ever-growing collection of hidden feline hunts. What really caught me off guard this time was the calm, almost meditative soundtrack. The OST completely sets the mood and makes this short adventure surprisingly immersive for its brief runtime. As usual, everything works smoothly: the zoom is fantastic (from full picture to micro loop without distortion), the rechargeable hints are quickly accessible and infinite, and the cats are nicely recognizable and well placed. You also get color mode for a tiny extra layer of challenge, plus brightness and save settings, as usual, if you need a break mid-hunt. The whole experience feels polished… well, mostly. Some of those background lines still vanish when you find a cat, and with only two levels, the fun is over faster than a cat loses interest in a new toy. For veterans of the series, you know exactly what to expect: it’s short, sweet, and cozy. For newcomers, it’s actually a good entry point. If you've played any of the 100 Cozy Games series before and liked it, you'll probably enjoy this one too. It's a simple hidden object game with very low stakes making it a good way to just de-stress and relax. As usual I find the hand drawn line art to be whimsical and fun. It's fairly calm images this time depicting cats in a Cyprus setting. You are given two scenes to look through and as usual for me, there were two cats that were bit elusive. You can at any time use their their hint without penalty to find cats, but they are fairly easy to find as long as you look for anything remotely cat shaped or anything that looks out of place. Compared to other games in their 100 Cats series this did seem a little different. The cats felt easier to find but my playtime wasn't too different than other games even accounting for the 5 minutes that I left it idle before actually starting. But it still felt easier to find everything. The other thing I noticed was that it felt as if the graphics were not quite up to their usual standard. Part of the image had crisp clean lines while others were a little fuzzy. It wasn't as noticeable zoomed out, but was the more you zoomed in. I don't recall noticing that on any of their other games. In addition to that, when you find a cat they disappear from the image but usually a clean background image remained. Instead, in this one, the background after the cat disappears often leaves a messy, unfinished looking background. Missing outlines, smudged looking colors. It looks like it was a mistake deleted from a Photoshop work in progress. I felt a little dissatisfied whenever finding a cat because of that. I don't know if production was rushed or what, but that little bit of final polish would have made it a better game. I'd still recommend it for its low price point and relatively relaxing play, just be aware if that type of thing will bother you, it might not be as satisfying or relaxing as other entries in the 100 cats series.

i’m kinda disappointed with this one from the 100 cats series firstly, both pictures have very little in common with Cyprus secondly, blank spots where the cats were found (no bg lines, sometimes colored cat-shaped blobs) are really upsetting, it feels like no one ever checked how the picture looks without cats on it why not draw all the lines behind the cats or at least just color them in instead of removing them entirely? the music is nice, though once again it has nothing to do with Cyprus however i really appreciated the names of the achievements
