100 Hong Kong Cats

[H1]Some cats are more... abstract than others (once again)[/H1] I’ve seen worse and better from 100 Cozy Games, so I won’t complain too much, but yeah, regulars already know how I feel about the price (still way too high for something under 10 minutes). That said, let’s not sound like a broken gramophone and look at what’s actually here. You’ve got two quick levels, solid zoom, black & white and color modes, plus the usual brightness options, fullscreen, and sound sliders. Achievements follow normal progression, and the instant hint system is actually nice: it points you to a general area without handing you the answer, and it doesn’t mess with achievement hunting. As usual too, nothing is perfect: the second level is available right away despite having a little key symbol, which really looks like a bug considering how previous entries handled it. Also, a handful of cats (around 4–5) are basically just... butts with tails. I get the franchise isn’t known for feline-looking furballs, but come on, give me something that at least feels like a cat! Then there’s the usual achievement flood (100 just for the first level), which is standard for the series but still a lot. It’s super easy, super short (8 minutes to 100% on my end), and while it’s not a bad pick for achievement hunters, I’d personally wait for a huge sale, especially with the 2026 Hidden Object Fest around the corner. Would give this a neutral recommendation, but I can't with Steam current system so I'll give a thumbs up for the effort, but procede with low expectations. It is not a game where you need to overthink or solve complicated challenges; instead, you can simply enjoy searching for the hidden cats and decompress after a long day. Some cats are cleverly hidden, making the discovery process enjoyable, while the hint system is there to help whenever you cannot find one. The artwork and music fits together nicely and create a cozy atmosphere. Overall, it is a charming and calming game that offers a pleasant way to relax. You pet and find the cats, but they're *shocker* in Hong Kong this time. 3/10

Cute hidden picture game with a bonus level. The colors really are amazing but if you don't like the color then you can take the color away (which is actually easier to find the cats but I like the challenge).
