My only regret is i bought this game on early access way back in 2023. If the developer isn't updating it, that means the game has got abandoned. Last update was in 2024. AI enemies can hitscan you from 400m+ far distance with accurate shots, they have aimbots, their sound is high so be mindful headphone/loudspeaker. I could say ZombieGirl has some potential, good concept but bad execution. I hope the dev fix what he broke in this game. (Then i will change my review) If you want a similar game experience like this, than i could suggest "The Killing Antidote". It has a demo and you can see for yourself why.
Zombie Girl: Keep the Lights On First of all, it’s really hard to judge the game and developer, since I have no idea how difficult it is to make a game on UE5. I can’t tell what’s a base preset and what’s handcrafted – models, mechanics, or AI behavior. The fact is, the game is solid and playable, yet has plenty of room for improvement. Right now, it has two game modes: Story and Defense. The first is a corridor shooter, while the second is a wave-based survival mode. I started with Story, got lost in the second stage, and was about to write a negative review, criticizing the slow cover-based gameplay against soldiers and overly easy fights against blind and deaf zombies. But then I tried Arena mode, where the game truly shines. It’s quick, fast-paced, and has roguelike elements that force you to adapt to survive against different enemies. The game keeps surprising you: first arena – humans, second arena – zombies, what’s next? Humans and zombies combined? Nope! Friggin’ werewolves and giant spiders! I highly recommend playing Defense mode first, as it not only helps you get used to the controls, understand the mechanics, and test different guns – it also unlocks weapons for story mode and character skins. Now that I’ve beaten Defense and almost finished Story, I can confirm that the game is worth both its price and your time. Yes, it’s “just” a shooter on UE5 – anyone could make one, you might say. Anyone could, but this developer actually did it. And I really want to see how the game grows and improves. (One thing bothers me, though: the game hasn’t received any updates in 2025 atm, I hope it hasn’t been abandoned.) By the way, I’ve seen many negative reviews complaining about the misleading “sexual content” tag. It’s true – there are no H-scenes or fully nude characters. The most you’ll get is protagonist’s damaged uniform. But compared to other crappy NSFW games, this dev got the priorities right: gameplay first, lewdness second.
不跑路更新呢?
It looks nice but this is not a game. It's more of a tech demo. These kinds of "games" I can respect if it's like a few people without the tools or funding to make a real game. I don't know anything about Utopia Studio and I don't care took research them but this "game" is dog water. It has some potential but needs a few years in the oven and some serious experienced dev oversight. In it's current state, not worth the time. The main character looks great though. I suspect that's where 99% of the sales come from.
Простенькая, но годная игра. 7,5 из 10.
The game is still playable, but the developer has run away.
