It starts with a daring escape from a zombie-infested city; it ends at Zombie Exodus, when a horde of zombies swarms outlying settlements like locusts.

I've played this game multiple times over and thing there's something new to do every time. So, the replayability is great! My only complaint with the game is the save system. It is rather lacking, in my opinion, as you can be playing/reading for a while before encountering another save point. And if you die, then it's ALL THE WAY back at practically the beginning of the chapter. Other than that, super fun!
Maybe I’ve seen too many zombie stories at this point but this game felt painfully generic. I played this game for three hours before giving up on it. I don’t know why, or if it’s even the game’s fault, but I seem to have a bug where it hasn’t recorded my time properly. My library and recently played section acknowledge that I’ve played Zombie Exodus for 3.1hrs but for some reason it’s only showing up at 0.3hrs on record. Regardless of that, I didn’t finish the game so make of this what you will, maybe act V is where it all comes together in the end but even if that were the case it wouldn’t be worth the hours you have to slog through to get to it. Tedious and unengaging, the only thing that surprised me was the supernatural schizophrenia and I don’t think that was handled well. If anything, the way this game handles mental illness is a bit tasteless. None of it’s characters talk or even act like real people, there were many moments where I was struck by how unnatural some of the dialogue was. It broke my immersion in the game over and over again. While the length of this story is impressive, many scenes overstay their welcome and there are a surprising number of fetch quests that bloat the runtime and are littered with arbitrary choices. During certain scenes you will have to brute force your way into the “correct solution” as you die over and over again just to redo your item management that, in hindsight, effected very little. These arbitrary choices also bled over into conversations. There are multiple occasions where a character will approach you and say they need to talk to you before you go out on your fetch quest of the day and if you try to speak with them, they’ll brush you off and say you’re too busy to hear it. I could go on but I feel that I’ve wasted enough of my time on it and I intend to remove this game from my account as I won’t be playing it again. That said, clearly this game has appealed to a lot of other people and if you’re a fan of Choose Your Own Adventure games you may still want to give it a chance despite my opinion of it. In which case, try the demo online first.

I didn't like the writing
Honestly, the writing is pretty weak. It honestly comes across as a joke for the most part. Very little you do actually seems to make any difference. I really wanted to like this game, but honestly, it's one of my least favorite CYOA type games I've gone through yet. 3/10
其实相比起这一部,我觉得safe haven还是写的更好一点,这一部人物的塑造和描绘都相对来说粗糙一些,但是在这类游戏里头也算是很不错的了。
Okay game. Needs a method to track what you have already seen. Lack of save states is cool at first but becomes frustrating if you want all of the achievements.
I tried this just to have Bonus stats on Zombie Exodus Safe Haven. The author has made a lot of improvements to their writing in that series.
The writing is okay but it's one of those CoG stories where all but one of the choices are wrong and will get you killed, as well as resource management which is always a pain and rarely used in most other CoG games anymore. Also, picking anyone except military background seems pointless. I preferred Choice of Zombies.
Be patient,is a good one but slow paced.
