"Zombie Apocalypse" is another low key asset flip. This is just a collection of mismatched (probably store-bought or free stock) assets thrown together to form a basic, shallow experience... more designed for the sake of an amateur developer being able to call themselves a "game developer" thanks to Steam Direct and stock assets than a product designed for gamers. For that reason it's obviously not going to provide a decent gaming experience. This is an early Digital Homicide style asset flip now published free on PC by the mobile app PC port makers at GameTop (why, nobody knows). And it's bad, real bad... clunky controls, bad assets, zero polish, barely working gameplay. This was shovelware when it launched on PC 9 years ago. Now, it's only gotten worse. So the visuals might look halfway decent at first glance, if mismatched looking in places. But that's only because the "developer" is using other people's assets. When a dev is too lazy or untalented to make their own art, they usually aren't capable of competent coding or game design either. That is exactly the case with this mess. This game is fairly dated at 9 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. A peak of [b]11 concurrent players[/b] (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. Given that this free game won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam. At the end of the day, my reviews are intended to help gamers find quality and avoid the dregs (with over 140,000 games on Steam... not all of them are masterpieces). If you think my review is wrong, definitely add this to your library, download it and play it... it's surely exactly the kind of game you'll love (but I doubt it will work out that way). Игра в жанре защиты башни. Стилистика как всем будет понятно зомби. Не большая всего 45 однообразных уровней. Несколько видов врагов и 4 вида оружия которое можно апгрейдить и 4 вида апгрейда для нашей базы. Игра весит смешные 200мб но многие все равно смешали ее с грязью. Как по мне можно поиграть и пройти ее за вечерок-другой. Один минус как по мне (кому то может плюс) что зомби умирают даже от выстрела в ногу.

i cant get the game to launch, no matter how low i set the specs in the launcher, idk what the issue is, i cant even try the game
