About
ZOMBETES is a zombie survival game where you play as a diabetic.

A unique text-based game where each run is different
To survive, you must manage your blood glucose levels while avoiding infection. Navigate through procedurally generated levels in search of insulin and nutrition. Find items to barricade yourself, rest, and move on.
Death is inevitable. The question is how long can you stay alive?
Test your reflexes with item skill checks
In your travels, you can encounter the remains of other ZOMBETES players whose lives have already expired. And when your time inevitably comes to an end, so too can other players find and loot your belongings.

Find traces of other players in your world
You will face highs and lows. If you're lucky, NPC survivors might be of some aid.
Or if you're not, they may become adversaries.
In the fight for your life against the walking dead, there's no time to stop and smell the roses. Your blood sugar is dropping: eat the sandwich, inject the insulin, and find your next dose.

Reviews
Extremely creative text-based game that provides a realistic view into what Type 1 diabetes is like to live with everyday, while giving you a world to explore. I want to echo that the ASCII art and status windows were really unique additions! Glancing over to see your blood sugars jump 2 points and start panicking... It gave a text-based game a sense of urgency I hadn't experienced before. Loved it! Looking forward to seeing future updates!
I enjoyed what i did play. Good design choices. Slightly limited on creativity but not too bad. Still some bugs to work out.
For a 5E text-based game. It has a lot of interesting stuff and a quite few commands. It's too early to recommend it or not but I will get back with edit. It has potential.
i just finished my first run i got 0 days survived but i found it fun and interesting. i love the music in the background and the status window, the art made in the other window is also great. great game :)
