I tend to seldom review games but this one I feel like I definitely have to review it, since I really enjoyed it :D, so without further ado, let the review commence: Story: I believe that this is where the game really shines, the story is intriguing, the characters strengths and weaknesses are well defined once you learn their past You will understand clearly why the characters behave the way they do, this is a very important aspect of writing so I am really happy when I see devs that pay attention to this and Stolen Rose definitely did .... kudos . You also have a lot of agency in how the story unravels and Your decision can have wide implication not only on the story endings but also on the characters arcs, I can't say much about the story without giving spoilers but what I will say is that the story psychological/fantasy style should be very well received by readers because it presents you with very real situations that humans deal with on regular basis .... I really feel for the characters and sympathize with them, very few AVN's have manage to touch me like this. Story gets a 9.3/10 Atmosphere: The atmosphere is well above average but short of being really good, the music fits the scenes and adds to the overall bleak experience of the story, but it lakes certain sound effects that would significantly add to the atmosphere. it gets a 7.7/10 Graphics/renders: The renders are above average, the backgrounds are well done with details that are relevant to the story and the characters are pretty even though just base models were used but if I compare them with other AVNS they can be better. 7.9/10 NSFW: The spicy scenes are all animated although at this point I've unlocked just a few in the gallery, the animations are good but feel short of what they could be, but there is definitely enough diversity in the NSFW content that there is probably something for everyone . it gets a 8.7/10. I would write next about the mechanics but there are no real mechanics in the game, although I must say I never felt the need for them in 0 End, because your agency in the game makes You think (well at least me) of 100 good ways and about 100 bad ways that one of Your choices could lead to..... to this day i do not believe that I have ever played a game in which I had to consider and reconsider and reconsider again and again ... (well you see where this is going) the choices that you make. This is a definitely PLAY for me and I am sure a lot of others would enjoy it if they give it a shot. Note to Devs: Stolen Rose, as you mentioned on your petreon, here is my like and comment, this is a great AVN I hope you do not give up on it and I am really looking fw to see more .... which actually brings me to a question are you planing Chapter 3 and 4?
Felt like a kid renting a Full Moon Entertainment film for the first time.
Really good twist in the AVN genre, loved the dark and paranormal themed vibe, actions, wished for a bit more spice but absolutely a good game also, really appreciated the various styles to play, but felt like you had to strict play certain ways depending on your path for situations..but that is a RPG element. Also, the music and sound effects for the dark spooky or music that played at moments was quite enjoyable
Ok, recommend the game. Usual cute women, good character development, good fap time if that's your pleasure. If you want the achievements be prepared for multi saves and some grinding to get all of them. Game is open-ended giving indication there 'could' be a follow on. Have fun.
I have played a lot of AVNs, and before I review Zero End I should mention that I have already played the latest version. I know it's still early in the game, but I am already putting Zero End up there with the best titles I have played, which are BaD, Eternum, Artemis, Leap of Faith, Color of My Sound and Desert Stalker. If you enjoy anything Lovecraftian, this game will be one of your favorites. Any AVN fan who even somewhat enjoys horror will love this game. The story so far is outstanding, and writing is up there with the very best AVNs. The stills and animations are exceptionally well done, and fit the atmosphere perfectly. The music is a perfect fit as well. This game also has one of my favorite free-roam events in any AVN, and I've played a ton of these. Zero End also has one of the most touching scenes I've seen in any form of media, provided you make the right choices of course. (Don't worry, if you don't, you can always go back to one of your saves and fix it like I had to do, lol.) The quality of Zero End is all the more impressive when considering that to my knowledge, this is the first AVN from Stolen Rose. Already being this skilled, five years from now I predict Stolen Rose will be mentioned in the list of top AVN devs, and will be the clear #1 dev in the horror sub genre. If you buy chapter one now (May 2025) you're coming in at a good time because chapter two is nearly finished. You will love the story, and won't be waiting long at all for the next chapter. Do yourself a favor and give Zero End chapter one a try. I promise you'll be back for chapter two.
This game is good, and would recommend. The girls are hot, choice matter, puzzles/games are good, everyone is likeable in their own way (minor writing nitpic but don't make your MC edgy if you are going to rag on him being edgy the entire game, Caleb should be the comic relief not the MC's style especially when every girl is edgy). The only real feedback I have is this is a porn game your scenes should be longer than 4-5 slides with 3-4 sentences, that must change other than that easily one of the games with the most potential on steam.
so I don't usually leave reviews but i have to on this game. i have tried out a lot of visual novel type games. i prefer the oes with a good storyline as well as characters arcs. if you are just looking for cheesy pics and or animated sex scenes this aint the one for you. if you are looking for something with a story this is a great start. i am sure there is alot more sexual content then what i found as well as a lot more to come. i took a route that had one sexual scene and passed on a few that i know of and am sure more there is more than those few i know i didn't get. i enjoyed the story line and the characters. I think there were maybe one or two minor grammar issues that I saw. for its price i greatly recommend and am definitely going to get the next part when released.
Great story when is chapter 2 coming??
Amazing story, Interesting screenplay and the variety of game modes like puzzle solving and exploration all in VN style. The plot is interesting and cant wait for the next episode. Definitely good rendered models and very good story so far. Definitely Recommended!!!
