Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I had similar issues with this as I did with another of this devs games; Satazius. There's a lot of trial and error in the level design, a lack of telegraphing. Other than that, it and Satazius play mostly fine, but I find it a frustrating enough rough edge that I didn't want to continue and can't recommend it.

ZANGEKI WARP is a creative side-scrolling shooter developed by ASTRO PORT and published by Henteko Doujin , a developer with a reputation for blending classic arcade influences with original gameplay ideas. At first glance, the game appears to be a traditional retro-inspired shoot’em up, complete with pixel-art visuals, futuristic enemies, and relentless waves of projectiles. However, beneath that familiar surface lies a surprisingly innovative mechanic that gives the game its own identity and elevates it above many genre contemporaries. The story embraces the spirit of old-school science-fiction adventures. Humanity faces a catastrophic threat from monstrous biological weapons created by the eccentric and dangerous Doctor Benomiya. To stop the invasion and prevent the destruction of civilization, players take control of the ZanFighter, a technologically advanced spacecraft equipped with experimental weaponry. While the narrative remains simple and primarily serves as motivation for the action, it successfully captures the charm of classic arcade shooters where saving the world is all the justification needed for explosive battles and daring missions. What truly distinguishes ZANGEKI WARP from other side-scrolling shooters is its signature Warp Slash system. Instead of relying solely on careful dodging and constant firing, players can temporarily halt time and instantly warp to another position on the screen. During this movement, the ship slices through enemies, bullets, and hazards, turning defense into offense. This mechanic dramatically changes how the game is played. Every encounter becomes a puzzle of positioning and timing, encouraging players to think strategically rather than simply react to incoming threats. The feature feels fresh throughout the entire campaign and remains the game's strongest selling point. The level design is carefully built around this teleportation mechanic. Environmental obstacles, enemy formations, and bullet patterns frequently demand creative use of warping. Traditional shooter skills remain important, but success often depends on understanding when and where to teleport. This approach keeps gameplay engaging and prevents stages from feeling repetitive. New hazards and enemy arrangements continually introduce fresh challenges, rewarding players who master the system and punishing those who rely on conventional shooter habits. Combat is further enhanced through a collection of supporting abilities that complement the warp mechanic. The ZanFighter can unleash shockwave attacks at the end of a warp, deploy decoys to distract enemy fire, and utilize a protective shield that offers temporary survivability. When the shield collapses, it triggers a powerful counterattack capable of damaging nearby opponents. These systems create multiple layers of strategy and ensure that battles remain dynamic. Players are encouraged to experiment with different approaches rather than relying on a single tactic throughout the game. Visually, ZANGEKI WARP delivers exactly what fans of retro shooters expect. The pixel-art presentation is colorful, detailed, and packed with personality. Enemy designs range from mechanical threats to bizarre biological creations, while stages feature varied environments that maintain visual interest from beginning to end. Although the graphics intentionally avoid modern realism, the strong art direction and smooth animations give the game a timeless arcade appeal. Explosions, weapon effects, and warp animations provide satisfying feedback and reinforce the intensity of combat. The audio design complements the action effectively. Fast-paced music keeps energy levels high during stages, while impactful sound effects make every warp, explosion, and enemy defeat feel rewarding. The soundtrack may not be revolutionary, but it fits the gameplay perfectly and contributes to the overall arcade atmosphere. Combined with the retro visuals, the audio helps create an experience that feels like a modern tribute to classic Japanese shooters. Difficulty is another major aspect of the experience. ZANGEKI WARP is challenging without being unfair. New players may struggle initially as they adapt to the unique movement system, but the learning process is rewarding. The game constantly encourages improvement, and mastering the warp mechanic creates a genuine sense of accomplishment. Boss battles are particularly memorable, requiring careful planning and precise execution rather than simple firepower. These encounters serve as excellent tests of everything the player has learned throughout the preceding stages. Despite its many strengths, the game may not appeal to everyone. Players seeking a story-driven adventure or extensive customization options may find the experience somewhat limited. Its focus remains firmly on arcade-style action and skill-based progression. Nevertheless, those who appreciate challenging shooters and inventive gameplay systems will find plenty to enjoy. ZANGEKI WARP succeeds because it respects the foundations of the shoot’em up genre while introducing a mechanic that feels genuinely original. ASTRO PORT manages to blend nostalgia with innovation, creating a game that stands out in a crowded field of retro-inspired releases. Its clever teleportation system, strong level design, satisfying combat, and engaging difficulty curve make it a worthwhile experience for both genre veterans and players looking for something different. Rating: 7/10
THIS GAME IS AMAZING! You get to warp around through baddies! Complete with Buckets of Blood! Red and Green Blood!
